Remy Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 I ran into a guy at the gun club who has an SBE 1 that he has used for waterfowl hunting over several seasons. It is black SBE with the "matte" finish on the metal. It is showing some finish wear mainly on the barrel. Does anybody know of a competent shop that would properly refinish the matte bluing or parkerizing or whatever is that is on the barrel back to a factory look. He is only interested in getting the barrel assembly refinished. Thanks! Quote
tucker301 Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 GunKote finishes will match the color well and provide added protection and durability. A number of shops use them, but they're pretty easily applied by the average hobbyist as well. Quote
