KA
Does anybody have any information (or opinions) on the differences in recoil between a SBE or Stoeger m2000, and say a Remington 870 or Winchester 1300? I have been told by at least one gunshop owner that they are pretty much the same, but I figured some of you guys would have a pretty good idea. Thanks. camo3235
Well, the Stoeger/Benelli would have a little more recoil than the remington becase of the guns weight. The benelli/ stoegers, being so light, would have more recoil. No matter which gun, i'd get a limbsaver recoil pad.
camo3235
Im sorry, i thought you said remington 1187, anyway, yes they would have about the same recoil pad, but the lighter, the more recoil. plus the pump is more powerful due to the loss of energy for the gun itself to load a shell. id still dgo for a limbsaver. KA
Thanks, camo. I will be mainly "field" shooting so the recoil shouldn't be too big of a deal, but it will be for turkeys too. Those magnum shells pack a wollop!
