IUFan13 Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 I just bought my first Benelli! I purchased a left-handed SBEII w/ Timber Camo and a 24" barrel. After reading some of the posts on this forum, I also purchased a Rhino .660 choke. I shot it for the first time on Saturday. The recoil was a lot less than I expected! I also had a very good pattern on the turkey target! Our turkey season in Indiana opens on April 26, and I also bought a license for the early Michigan season. I can't wait!!! I made my decision by reading this forum, doing research in other areas, and by actually calling Benelli customer service. I was hoping they would be manufacturing a slug barrel for the gun, but it sounds like I will need to try and see how it shoots with the improved or modified choke. I am used to shooting a Browning, but I have always wanted a left-handed semi-automatic. Hopefully I won't be disappointed. So far, I am VERY pleased! Thanks for all of your help here in the forum! MOFOWLER Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Congrats on the purchase. I have a left handed SBE II and it has functioned flawlessly. Hope you like yours as much as I like mine Quote
