Ducks (Including mergansers)

Daily Bag Limit:

7 of any kind except:

Shall not include more than the following:

1 canvasback

2 female mallards

2 redheads

1 pintail

3 scaup (lesser or greater in the aggregate)

 

Geese:

4 of any kind

 

Of course those are last years limits, as this years regs haven't come out yet, but imagine they won't change much if at all, with the exception of the geese, as that number "might" increase. Not sure.

 

I wish I was better at identifying ducks. I know we have a lot of mallards around here, but we have a lot of ducks that are smaller than mallards, and fairly dark in color - not sure what they are. Looking forward to giving waterfowl hunting a try.
