Nick_Navarro1414
I recently went to a gun shop and handled a mossberg model 935. It feels like a great gun. The owner of the shop didnt know much about it though. Does anyone know how reliable it is?? Anything wrong with it? All feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks -Nick
Chessie Dog
I wouldn't trust a Mossberg semi auto. I did read that the gun will not shoot 2 3/4 shells at all. Amercian Hunter this month has an article on it.
ol' yeller
Nick, I bought a 935 a week before Arkansas' duck season closed out. Right out of the box I shot 2 boxes of 3" Winchester Xperts through it without a problem. After that I hunted it 5 out of the last 7 days of the season without a jam. I shot anything from Federal 3" 3's to Winchester Dry Lock 3.5" BB's to Kent 3" BB's in weather ranging from 18 degrees to the mid-50's. Everything cycled fine. I also shot it in MO on a snow goose hunt in 2 degree weather. Went through 2 boxes of Dry Lock 3.5" BB's. It's a good gun for the money. Eric is correct about it not shooting 2.75" shells. I have 4 other shotguns that will shoot 2.75" shells, so that wasn't a factor for me. yeller [ 03-05-2004, 02:49 PM: Message edited by: ol' yeller ]
