CraigL
Has any one tried the sims recoil pad in place of the stock comfort tech pad. Personaly, I don't think the pad that cam on the gun is all too great.
mudhen
Yes, the LS SBE II pad technically works, but the adapter is a total POS. Thumbs down from me. The Benelli Gel Pad has worked fine for me so far. mudhen - CA
2ninersavo
The limbsaver pad is great. Although the adaptor takes a little work to get it installed correctly. The limbsaver pad is a little more sticky than the gel pad but with use it slicks up. I have one on my SBE II. The main reason is when I first bought my shot gun in December 2006 the pad was loose and would not stay in. Benelli CS told me to clean the flange or the pad with alcohol and it would stay in. It would not. And it was installed by me correctly(completely flush the way it should be). And yes I do know how to put the gelpads in as this was my second SBEII and third Benelli gun. Another call to the factory and CS said they would not send me one under warranty, my gun was 2 days old (from my date of purchase from the Benelli dealer). I ask them if I could send the gun back and let them look at it, CS said they would charge me for the work, freight and parts.I was not happy and didn't want to get in a fuss so I bought a limbsaver pad.
