samhane Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 Just got home and took the M1 apart to wipe down and clean and I tried getting the stock off. Key word being tried I can't get this damn thing off to save my life it just spins. Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to remove this thing? Quote
HDRDKG Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 The M1 is totally different than the M4. On the M1 you need to remove the recoil pad with a phillips screwdriver. Then you need to remove the nut from the inside and the stock will slide off. Quote
M1014 Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 hey man ,,hope all is well,,gotta remove the buttpad first,,then get a 13mm socket and remove the nut in the buttstock thats holding your stock on the reciever,,once the nut is removed then pull off the stock,,try it Quote
