teamgreen02
I was detail cleaning my Benelli Montefeltro this week after replacing the carrier latch, and I seemed to have crushed the magazine tube while taking it loose. We found a socket that was slightly smaller and we forced it to the flat spot and then took a hammer and pounded around it. It helped a little bit, but the magazine follower still catches. Does anyone know where I can find a new one, and approximately how much one would cost? The kink is far enough down the magazine that I can still shoot doubles in skeet, so at least it still kind of works. If anyone is going to remove theirs, put your pipe wrench on the end furthest away from the chamber. It won't matter way on the end if it is slightly out of round since the magazine follower does not go all the way to the end.
HOGWILD
Just try a bigger socket or bigger hammer:), Brownells says the stock magazine part #'s were N/A and probably need to cal 1-301-283-6981 for availability?
teamgreen02
Got it fixed. We used a very small hone for car brakes. It took quite awhile to hone out enough material, but the magazine follower goes through smoothly now. Never doing that again.
