tucker301
The Inertia system operates on recoil. The heavier loads make sure that the action cycles as it should and it helps to condition the springs properly. You could shoot light loads and never have a problem, but it's usually best to go ahead and run a few boxes of the heavier stuff through the gun to expedite the break-in process. kafasi
heavy means 3'' or 2'3/4 heavy ones ????
dengineer1
Just this past weekend I used the "Heavy load" technique to break in my daughter's new 20 ga. shotgun. I used both 2-3/4" and 3" shells... what was available. So long as they are listed as "heavy field", or "magnum", or something like that, it should give you the desired result.
