joey Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 I just got my sbe11 and it seems that the stock piece seems to slide up and down. Is this normal? Quote
Guest BLACK JACK Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 What piece exactly are you referring to? Quote
joey Posted January 5, 2006 Author Posted January 5, 2006 The piece your left hand would hold when shooting. Quote
tucker301 Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Is this your first gun? If the stock is loose, then pop off the recoil pad and tighten the nut. Quote
Guest BLACK JACK Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 That’s the forend and no it should defiantly not slide up and down. If it is put together right then your barrel/top receiver should also be moving. Sounds like your forend cap is not tightened up all the way. Make sure that the plug and plug retainer do not come out past the end of the mag tube. Also make sure the top receiver is mated to the lower receiver correctly. Quote
Guest BLACK JACK Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Tucker I think he is referring to the forend. "The piece your left hand would hold when shooting." Assuming that he is shooting RH of course. [ 01-05-2006, 07:10 AM: Message edited by: BLACK JACK ] Quote
joey Posted January 5, 2006 Author Posted January 5, 2006 So on you sbe11 the forarm will not slide slighty up and down? Quote
joey Posted January 5, 2006 Author Posted January 5, 2006 What could cause this the forend cap is as tight as it will go? Does the forearm actually snap onto the barrel? Quote
tucker301 Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 At this point, I have deep concerns over the way you are assembling the weapon. Either take it to the dealer and get his assistance or get some hands-on help from a friend who has some experience. Quote
garren Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Maybe it isn't SBE at all. Are you sure you don't bought a Nova? Quote
