  1. There's an ass for every seat. I'd love to have one of my Benelli's that color. lol

  2. Joking aside, that is lousy, and I'm sorry it happened to you. I have no idea how it will fade, but it won't fade for a while yet, so that's a problem. Blame it on COVID, a lack of pride in a job well done, too much texting on the job, whatever, but manufacturing standards in general are going downhill faster than ever these days. A few weeks ago, I returned a supposedly brand new H2O that was clearly a used and abused gun. And a couple of days ago, the magazine cap retaining spring and pin just fell out of my brand new M1014 that replaced the H2O. The good news is that Benelli Customer Service has been fine to work with so far, so I would give them a call and - calmly as you can - explain that you would like to replace this clearly blue gun with a black one like the 99% of the other M1014s out there. Best wishes for a successful resolution. It really does suck when one opens that box with such high hopes, and one's first reaction is WTH???

  3. Baby blue. It will fade to a baby blue color. Not my kind of thing, but hey, at least you'll stand out at the range. 😁

  4. Benelli tends to send out varying shades. Mine is black but my aluminum trigger housing is blue/gray. It doesn’t bother me. The military M1014 are the same.

  5. Type III will require removing the finish you have now and redoing it. Anytime you strip a finish will run the risk of muddying the proof marks and lettering depending on how aggressive the ones doing the work gets doing the removal if that is a concern. Also check back order logs. You could be without you new m1014 for months.

  6. Was the M4 lubed at all? When I bought a Beretta 92FS, it wouldn't function. That was disappointing, but after I lubed it, it functioned flawlessly ever since. For that reason, I always lube any new gun. Some may argue that an M4 shouldn't require lube, but I lube.

  7. dam man that sucks. When i got mine i was worried about the break in period i hear people talk about. Mine was fine out of the box. I even mixed clay rounds, bird shot, slugs and buck shot all in one tube and it ate EVERYTHING. I was told to shoot just slugs or buckshot for about 50 to 75 rds to helpm break it in. If i ever have issues , the first thing i do is disassemble and clean thoroughly and inspect things as best as i can. Put it back together and give it a go, if still having issues it prob time to send to Benelli

  9. Bought an H2O with 7-round mag but they sent me the 5-round version. Just after I upgraded to 7-round tube, I saw a brand new, old-stock with factory 7-round mag.
