I have the Roth on my match gun and honestly I'm not terribly crazy about it. Since I can push it off with the middle of my finger, rather than just the tip up my finger, I suppose it's probably fractions of moment quicker to do and get on the trigger, but it's not game changing. And since doing that is so different than all the other guns that don't have it, I think that difference gives me pause at times, and that eats up anything it saved.

I don't have the TTI, but I do use a ROTH Oversized safety. This is all true (about the shell drop lever), but the gun should still fire, even with a ghost load it fires. first trouble shoot would be to just load the mag tube with one in the chamber and see if it cycles normally (no ghost load no shell drop lever)

Bought an H2O with 7-round mag but they sent me the 5-round version. Just after I upgraded to 7-round tube, I saw a brand new, old-stock with factory 7-round mag.
