I just got back from a AKC hunt test I took my sbe 2 and also my sbe incase of a problem I had 200 round through my sbe 2 and at a hunt test when gunning birds you can not miss or have a problem I Killed a 100 ducks shooting 2 3/4 trap steel shells with no problems I would hope there is a answer to the safety I do feel it needs to be lighter but it is one **** of a gun and I do like it better then my 2 year old SBE David

I have owned 7 benelli's and my new sbe 2 is by far the stiffest safe and I to would wait for a answer David

I finally shot my sbe2 and have put about 250 rounds through it I did have a little problem with some 2-3/4 dram shells jamming at first to tell you the truth I didn't even no they were in my shell case Like the gun quite well and have had to other sbe's the only problem I find is the safe is quite stiff and I did like the larger triangle shaped safe on my 2 year older sbe I was shooting the improved choke tube as for the recoil did not notice a lot of difference on 2-3/4 shells but I also did not shoot any 3 or 3-1/2 I will soon for now they seem to have done a nice job David

you will love this !! this is a reply to a email to the Benelli rep for my state I asked when I would be able to get a sbe2 and this was his replay on may 18 As of now, we have not received any shipment of the SBE 2 in the Max 4 camo. It could be at least 45 days backorder wait on these camo pattern. Well friday May 21 my local dealer called and said my gun was in and I picked it up today and he had 10 more You get the feeling they do not have a clue!!!!! But it is nice to have it wanted one since I saw the first picture. In closing it would be nice to have people be honest with there cust!!!!!!!!! David

one word YES!!!! I have a 20 monte a 12 s90 and a SBE Love them all and I am going to get a SBE 2 I don't think you can go wrong David
