yea tucker .. one stop at the search button and folks would have a months worth of reading..
-
-
one more thing ..
example: My brother owns an SBE that has no problems cycling light 7/8oz light reving loads while mine will malfunction with 'em. ..
at that point its luck of the draw .. not a malfunction.
-
careful .. brass size plays some role, but very little.
Its the shell composition (components) and 'load' that make 'er go .. not the metal.

take a step up and look at the Beretta 391's .. but do what ya gotta do.Originally posted by tucker301:Go lay your hands on a Franchi 712 Raptor. $900.

...and you should be able to pick up one for around $750 if you shop around.
Fit and Feel first.

Golden Bear ..FYI - VERY INCORRECT! they aren't even second fastest.. the Winchester Super X-2 is then followed by the ancient Browning A-5..Originally posted by Golden Bear:The Benelli Autoloaders are the fastest functioning of all the auto loaders, although not the softest. They shoot more like an o/u or sxs than any other. I"ve tried them all and the Benelli is the best by far. Try and compare and I"d be very surprised if you go with anything else.--GB
cyclic rate of the Benelli autos is considerably slower in terms of the #'s ..

sorry crazy hair some techniqal marvel happened on this end..
plug length/ gun design .. hunting applications and shell quantity vary from state to state on various game.. there's no law on the target ranges.. just rules.
for instance the Franchi 'Fenice' and 'Grifone' are 5+1 ... total capacity

Exactly!! :

hey .. kickin' me arse will only get yer toe dirty...
-
don't pay for the 3-1/2's
get some HIGH reving and heavy 2-3/4"
.. or even better
..have someone else do it for ya.
each SBE is going to react differently to the "light" loads..
understand- you purchased a gun that was designed to chew HEAVY waterfowl loads.. not nibble at clay targets with 1oz of shot @ 1100fps

plug length

just a buzz from this side ... go local first.
-
ROFLMAO ..
hahahaha ditto close to your enemies ...
hope things are goin' better for Doc .. lol

HAHAHA .. I don't visit the catacombs for a few weeks and look ... things are gettin' good!
-
LMAO
what a trip!

Scott - ya opened a big can-o-worms on this one..
historicly, shooters have leaned toward a more 'linear' dimensioned gun for the range..
thats all I'll touch on ..
just consider Fit and Feel to be the two most important factors.
guns are 'generically' produced and a guy thats 5'8" is going to have different needs/dimensions as say someone of my stature @ 6'5" ..
Fit and Feel First!

gun stickers ..
wow .. I fight to remove 'em from things
insert my addiction to 'GOO GONE' here..

yea .. half price too!Originally posted by tucker301:Is this the new half-sling design?
