My Franchi did the same thing. Shot low and to the left a lil bit. I called customer service and sent my gun back and got this BS that it was withen their standards of accuracy. I said OK and put a holo sight on it! All done it shoots much more accurate now than it would have with iron sights so I am happy. Thanks Franchi for CR@PPY customer service you could have fixed my gun and I would not have gotten a Holo Sight!

Just for kicks, you should check out Nitro shotshell's website at the price they are charging to pattern guns:eek:
It's not for just patterning your gun but a Rhino choke and if they have to make a custom shell for your gun as well plus a 5 box of their shells.
The Rhino/Nitro combo is awesome hands down the best if you are willing to pay the price. Heck their copper shotshells shoot better than most of the big name production shells made that are out on the market today.

I been using the Master series from Flambeau. I like the attentive Hen and the feeding hen.
For full strut decoys I have been looking at the new King Strut that came out by Flambeau since you can put real wings and fan on it. The Pretty Boy look great too. The B M obile just look to fake for my taste. Plus it says primos and that says it all JUNK production!

I think the M2 takes the m o b i le choke systym which is basically the standard choke that fits most benellis, berettas, Franchi's and Stoegers. The SBE2 takes a whole nother choke all together. If I am wrong one of these experts here will correct me.

That call package sounds great buddy!
I hope that Andy Kaiser puts on his game face this year down here he aint hunting them Easterns so he better be use to silent birds lol.
I sent you a PM on USHF with my addy. I'll make sure that I save you a bird for next year when you come down also.

That's a tough one! Can we break it down to different type of calls? I love my mouth calls and finish just about all my hunts with mouth calls but I also wouldn't want to pass up my Kaiser Kall....the copper one
I am still waiting on my Tooky mouth calls

Trulock makes these chokes. If they are anything like the other Trulock chokes I have purchased over the years, they are probably outstanding.
I know maybe 40-50 people that shoot 5,000-10,000 shells a year, so I think maybe there are just a few more folks than Tom knapp that might benefit from improved extended choke features.
I was just using him as example!

If your planning on shooting Nitro's Hevi shot I would get the Rhino. From what I seen with the Rhino it patterns most loads pretty good through my gun.
-
I use a older Bushnell Holo sight with no Magnification and it works great!

With almost 200 custom calls in my collection to choose from I think that I might just pick a slate call from Andy Kaiser of Kaiser Kalls.

I have never used them and cannot even fathom what benefit they actually provide. One thing you will learn that ever year they(companies) will make gimmicks to take our money with fancy names like Crio. I would be willing to bet that either they are were not really frozen in cryostasis or they serve actually no real benefit to the average hunter or shooter.
Maybe someone like Tom Knapp will get a benifit cause he shoots thousands upon thousands of shells yearly through his chokes and gun.
IMO

I use the .660 Rhino with the Nitros and it is awesome. almost 400 pellets 10" circle @ 40yds. It shoots a real tight pattern but I use a Holo sight which makes it easy on close shots.

Rhino .660 2in Ext Choke with the Nitro H-378's and you will never look back

When I wanted a mout for a guhn that wasn't listed I called B-Square and they gave me the correct model number which I just ordered from them and it works great!

Depends how much you wanna spend.
I like the rhinos but they are a 100 bucks a pop but they are well worth it in my opinion. I definately think though any after market choke will be better then the stock ones coming from the factory.
-
Well I would want a lot better if I was you.
I am getting between 220 and 250 pellets in a 10 in circle at 40 yards with my .660 Rhino choke and Nitro shells. I am shooting a Franchi 612 I can't complain
-
Thanks Guys!

This one fell to my Franchi with a .660 Rhino with Nitros H-378 tri hevi shot load at 35 yards.

Here's my Only Turkey I got this year hunting public land was tough this season. Weight 16# Beard 9 7/8" SDurs 1 1/4" and 1 3/8"

The Nova likes the .660 Rhino choke! .640 is to tight and you will not get the optimun pattern using it. Also Rhino chokes shoot best wioth the Nitro loads. Nothing else performs even close as Rhino/Nitro combos
-
You can order one from Benelli
-
Rhino makes the best choke for Hevi-Shot. I don't know how it works with the cr@p that remington sells but it works awesome with Nitro's hevi-shot

Does anyone make one that will fit it?
Raccoons Predation on Wild Turkey eggs
in Turkey Hunting
Posted
Hey guys I need your help!
A couple three years ago I think in one of the NWTF Mags I read how the coons were really bad on eating eggs. They were talking bout how they trapped them in a area where they had a large number of coons and the turkeys responded by populations increase of a 200% in that area.
Does anyone remember seeing that article or know where I can find similar articles.
My buddy runs a WMA here in Florida as he is a State Biologist but is hard headed and it is easier putting facts in front of him to read. We have a major coon problem in this WMA due to no hunting of any type except Turkey, Hogs and Deer due to it use to be a DEP property now the Game Commision owns it.
Thanks in advance!
Mike
