  1. Thanks for the responses. Mine shifts a bit more than mentioned here and is annoying. Not a functional issue but annoying. I think I will give CS a call and see if a new forearm fixes it. If others have little to no movement it may be an issue with my forearm only. If not, perhaps I will go the jury rig route.
  2. The forearm of my SBE II has been loose since purchase. I get a bit of movement no matter how it is assembled. Anyone else seeing this and have a fix or is this something to take to Customer Service? Thanks, B
  3. I purchased a Final Approach sling that includes Uncle Mike swivels that do not fit the SBE II. No problem with the magazine cap, but the swivel will not close on the attachment point on the stock. Last week I noticed that the older Uncle Mike swivel are slightly different than the new one on the sling I just purchased. I am still looking for one that fits...
  4. I wanted to report back now that my trigger assembly is back from customer service. The new spring made a huge difference and I am happy with it. Thanks for the prompt service!
  5. Just received a reply to my email with instructions on what to do. Thanks again for making this happen. Responding to issues such as this where some are happy with the status quo and some are not and giving them the choice to go either way is what keeps customers coming back.
  6. That is great news. Thanks for the fast response, it is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Brian [ 07-09-2004, 04:34 PM: Message edited by: drycreekvalley ]
  7. Just to be clear, the safety on my new SBE II is unacceptable. I cannot, after shouldering the gun, de-activate the safety using only my index finger. That means I will have to de-activate the safety prior to shouldering the gun. Benelli has already recieved reports from users that are not using the safety properly because of this fault. Anyone can see that this is a serious safety issue that needs to be addressed immediately before someone gets hurt. This safety on my new SBE II is *much*, *much* tighter than any gun I have ever handled. Not just slightly tighter than other guns, rather it cannot be used for its intended purpose. I have been quietly watching/waiting for the response from the factory and was hoping that this product safety issue would be recognized and addressed swiftly. Please move quickly.
