I have been using Militec-1 for several yrs. with Great Results. My experience has been that it works well in the Cold Snow hunting in Canada and the warm hunting in Florida. I just field strip my M2 and apply a small amount to the bolt and receiver contact/wear surfaces and also a drop or two down into the spring /recoil tube in the stock. Then i just fire the gun about 6 times to heat up the surfaces and i am all set to go. This works for me. Larry

I just returned from 5 days of Goose and Duck hunting west of Regina SK. On Monday Oct. 16th it was snowing and 25 degrees F. The snow geese were decoying well and the 4 of us got our 80 bird limit by 10:30 am. That afternoon we did a field hunt for Greenheads and got a limit of 32 birds very quickly. The first day was great due to the snow and windy weather. We had another good 42 bird snow goose hunt on Friday due to freezing rain and low visibility. For the week we had 169 geese and 52 ducks. I treat my M2 with Militec-1 and it performed perfectly in the freezing rain and snow. I was shooting Kent Steel 3 inch BB`s and No. 2`s. The M2 treated with Militec-1 works great for me in both cold and hot weather.

I keep pushing the wrong button...Have you tried the Past Shooting Primos choke...?

I use the EasyHit fiber optic bead on my M2 and it has worked for me. http://store.yahoo.com/easyhitus-store/index.html

YES.....if Benelli tested his gun including the suspect barrel.

No you are right, i might be able to hit the right button if i payed more attention to what i were doing. Yes on my trip the shells were $10 US per box. My shell bill for three days was $1290 US.

tkharris, i rented a new M1 20gage at the lodge. It worked well and they cleaned the gun each day. The fee was $50 US per day which i thought was reasonable. So i did not take a gun, but several other hunters that went thru customs with me in Cordoba did not have a problem. Even though the birds were flying high on most days their were hundreds of them. We used RD ( Brazil ) shotgun shells which were a little dirty and i had a few duds, but overall they were ok. My best day was 825 birds @ 60 %. I had a great time. Larry

Not sure yet...i will rent guns there...they have Benelli`s and Beretta`s. Probably will shoot an M1 20 gage. Might try a Cordoba if they have them although i don`t see that Benelli offers a 20 gage in that model.
