    Almost here

I was driving through Fort Worth today and saw a flock of about 250-300 greenheads and susies working their way south! Come on Saturday...
  2. I appreciate the response. Just waiting a few more days now...
  3. I appreciate all of the response guys. I still have not decided if I am going to try the hevi-shot. I am afraid that I might like it too much! I was just worried about the Kent, because on another post, someone said the Fasteel jammed in their SBEII about a third of the time.
  4. I just got back from a dove hunt in west Texas yesterday. I shot 4 boxes of Fiocchi 2 3/4" 1 1/8oz #8 loads without so much as a hiccup out of my brand new SBEII. I love the gun and have had no complaints whatsoever about it. I even shot some 1oz Winchester target loads and it cycled those fine too. Sorry to hear about your problems though.
  5. Thanks TJ, I will give them a shot.
  6. I have thought about trying them, but I don't know if I can bring myself to spend $2.00 per shot. Also thought about trying to reload some Hevishot, and maybe bring the cost down. Us city employees down exactly make a whole lot of cash.
  7. I appreciate the info guys. It looks like I will be trying out the Kent shells this year. And probably the FUDs also.
  8. No answer on the waterfowling boards, so I will try here. Two questions for the duck hunters. First is steel shot. Has anyone used the Kent Fasteel shells? If so, how did they perform in comparison to something like Winchester Dryloks? Second, has anyone used the Blackwater FUD decoys? These look like they would be great as far as carrying in to walk in areas, but I can't quite bring myself to buy them without a second opinion. Anyway, all suggestions/comments are appreciated.
  9. I have two questions for you waterfowlers out there. First, have any of you used the Kent Fasteel shells? If so, what did you think of them? I am used to shooting Winchester Dryloks, but I'm thinking about changing. Second, has anyone used the Blackwater FUD decoys? They look like they would be great for where I hunt, and a lot easier to carry in. Any input is appreciated.

    Slings

Is the sling that you are referring to the "shock absorber sling" on the aaeleathercraft website? It looks pretty good, but I don't see it in Max4HD, which is what my SBEII is. Not that it matters to the ducks.

    Slings

Just wondering if any of you guys have recommendations about what type of sling to put on my SBEII. I hunt in a lot of flooded timber where I walk in 1-1.5 hours, so it needs to be comfortable. Any suggestions are appreciated.
  12. SPRIGS--I had the same problem. I sent my trigger group via USPS Priority Mail and bought the delivery confirmation on 7-29. As of 8-10 I they had not received it. I called customer service with USPS and they said I had to wait 30 days to file my insurance claim. But, later that afternoon UPS dropped off my repaired trigger group and as of now, the post office still has not posted that Benelli has received it. Hopefully this is the same problem with yours.

I justed wanted to say hey to everybody in this forum. I am a new member to this site and a new Benelli owner. I went from an 870 to a SBEII. What a change! I also sent my trigger group to have the spring changed and received it back in 4 days. Great customer service. Anyway, good to be a member of a site with so many knowledgeable participants.
