Hey guys, Any of you had any experience shooting high volocity 2 3/4" or 3" steel shot, especially 00BUCK shooting through M1 tactical or M1014 chromium barrel shotguns? If you don't know about steel shot with these guns, what do recommend for home defense in other shells in size and brand? What do you know about Hornady TAP 00BUCK? I'm hearing bad things about Remington Shotgun Shells around the web, and that Winchester is the top shotgun shell bar none. I'm getting ready to buy a bunch, so I need some help and I know the guys on this forum are the best. Thank you, Richard G. of East Tennessee.

I agree with the first response, from BLKLABMAN Member Member # 912. I talked to him via email after I saw his post. If you are near the Tennessee line and are willing to make a short day trip, it's Benton Shooter's Supply, Benton, TN. It is in the small rural "Polk county" located in the last southeastern county of Tennessee. I live in the county east of there and everybody I know in southeast TN and Northern Ga. who knows the business, loves the giant store. I heard it was started by a former famous sheriff of many years, and many of the sales people are off duty policeman from surrounding counties, who really know there business. I have bought Benelli Shotguns, Kimber Pistols and had GREAT inhouse gunsmithing. The large store is just a couple of years old and is the biggest business in town, located just north of Benton a couple of miles. They also carry everything an outdoorsman wants or can order it. I guess I sound like a salesperson in disguise or a relative of the owner, but I thought I would do the readers who live in the S.E. Tennesse area a service by telling you this place exists.

Hello, I just bought a Benelli M4 with the Chrome lined barrel. I have looked everywhere for information on what kind of solvent bore cleaner and oil to use for Chromium. I'm really afraid to use just anything. I found M-PRO 7 GUN CLEANER (http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=18373&title=M-PRO+7+PRODUCTS#specs ) that is supposedly "harmless to all metal surfaces, including titanium, aluminum and carbon-discolored stainless steel," but does that mean Chromium? Any of you guys know? Appreciate the help. Richard G.

Hey fellas, I've got the M1 Tactical and did not know I could get a +4 additional Mag, as stated in the article above. I have not seen this in any of my Benelli handbooks or on the Benelliusa.com site. Could any of you guys tell me where online I could order mag. extensions to my guns? Thanks for any help.
