  1. Back when I was testing a sf light. [ 10-18-2006, 09:10 AM: Message edited by: WIN9639445 ]
  2. First take apart the whole gun, (remove barrell from reciever and remove mag/plug and or extension. MAKE sure the foreend is correctly aligned with the top end up. You can check this by the writing on the sides. Slide the B&T foreend over the back of the barrell first. It is a little trickey as you have to constantly turn and manuver the foreend in order to get it on all the way properly. Once it is on, slide that whole section onto the reciever, but not ALL the way being you now have to screw back on the mag/plug and or extension before inserting everything full into the reciever. You have to do this due to the buldge on the plug/extension whic does not allow the foreend to slide right over it like it does on an actual military model. Remember to carfully guide the ring on the barell over the mag extension as it must all fully be aligned to go into the reciever fully. Once it is all in place just screw back on the end cap to the extension and it will all tighten up and lock into place. Just take your time checking each step as you go. It is easy, just a little trickey and confusing the first time until you see how it all goes together and anchors on.
  3. I own the B&T BENELLI rail fore-end and it is awesome! It is like a KAC RAS system but for the M4/M1014 shotguns. The fit/finish and quality are just like LARUE TACTICAL products here in the US but these are SWISS made. I have NO idea why people always talk about "GAS" escaping/blowing on them with these units. I have met only ONE other user of this system and he had a pic of his M4 on AR15.COM and he is a user with no problems. These units slip right on replacing your plastic fore end pieces. THey were made for MILITARY/EURO M1014/M4's with SOLID MAG TUBES. So all you have to do is remove your extension before install and thread it back on after it is in place due to the "BULDGE" in the tube. Once you examine and use the system you can see why it is $325. Last I heard on the SURE-FIRE system was that it never went into production being they cannot get a final 100% problem free version together. It has been this way for about 2.5+ years now! 4. Here is the link to the AMERICAN/ U.S. made M4 mag extension: http://www.nodakspud.com./ I have NO idea on the quality/function of these U.S. made versions, I just remembered they produced them. Maybe someone else here has experience with these? Hope this helps you!
  5. The one pictured is a PRE-PRODUCTION "test" system that gets sent into the field for real world use and feedback. I have also seen a M80 mounted on a BENELLI M4 in a few "trade show" pics. According to SURE-FIRE, they have not yet came up with a "Final" production version that will be error free. BENELLI shotguns are VERY PICKY when it comes to mounting aftermarket foreend or handguard light systems. If they are not perfect or the weight is off they will not cycle, ie. SUPER 90's. Usually "Marketing" comes up with ideas and puts them out much faster than "Engineering" can come up with a usuable production item to actually sell. This whole M80 fore-end is going on TWO YEARS now!LOL [ 09-01-2005, 02:37 PM: Message edited by: WIN9639445 ]
  6. The SUREFIRE M80 system for the BENELLI M4 still does not exist to this date. There are none ordered or in production. SUREFIRE is still claiming "INDEFINTLY" on the wait untill production on this system even though you can buy it directly on their website!LOL I just talked to them today. The only systems available RIGHT NOW for the BENELLI are the SIDEARMOR and BRUGGER&THOMET. The B&T looks like the better designed of the two as far as being a true "foreend rail system" but I do not know of anyone who actually used or owns one to make a "real" comment on it. It is expensive, $325.00 U.S.D. Hope this helps!!
  7. This is the BEST I have seen to date design and layout wise. I would DEFINETLY buy this when it is available. The B&T and SURFIRE are not that funtional for those who want to mount a light on the side rails as they not extended far forward enough to allow for any support hand clearance. The UNINTERUPPTED top rail is a must for optics especially for those REAL M1014's in military service and converted guns with collapsable stocks. With the stock collapsed the original top rail section just does not seem long enough for reflex sights as you are right on top of them. I believe POLYMER and ALUMINUM would be the best for weight and cost effiencies. If it could be done as the same as LARUE TACTICAL AR rail fore-ends, that would be perfect. They are VERY LIGHT, PERFECT TOLERENCES, and FIT/FINISH quality seems to be the best. I think they are all MACHIENED FORGED ALUMINUM? If this could be done for the BENELLI system, I think you would have a winner. [ 05-13-2005, 06:58 AM: Message edited by: WIN9639445 ]
  8. If these stocks are illeagal on the M4/M1014's, why can you buy a new gun from a BENELLI dealer with the collapsable ALREADY on? Check here: http://www.calssportingarmory.com/BenelliM1014M4.htm Check the lower portion of the page. Comes with both the full and collapasable stocks, REAL M1014 COLLAPSABLE STOCK TUBE INSTALLED and LE ONLY markings. Someone please explain? [ 11-04-2004, 03:48 PM: Message edited by: WIN9639445 ]

  10. I FOUND OUT! it CAN be removed! A BENELLI dealer finally did a few. The tube is held in place by a white powdery substance similar to GREEN LOCTITE. The white stuff is just the ITALIAN version put on by BENELLI FACTORY ITALY. To remove you must take off the double nuts, then use HEAT to break the hold of the white substance. Thats it. 11. did you notice also the M1014's come with a M4 SUPER 90 owners manual. These manuals also have no mention inside of a "SPECIAL EDITION" model or the M1014 being mentioned at all or of a model with a NON-REMOVABLE stock tube. The WHOLE BENELLI M1014/M4 deal is starting to really dissapoint me! I will probably not look at/ use this weapon for a LONG time now! LOL [ 10-20-2004, 07:12 AM: Message edited by: WIN9639445 ]
