  1. I have the M2 field with the comfort tech and crio system in 3".. It's light weight and swings great. I have noticed a difference with the comfort tech shooting 3" turkeys loads, It does decrease the felt recoil. So well That my 12 year old son practiced with it this year for turkey season. He handled it very well.. The crio system I'm still learning about. I've tried to call benelli tech support to find out more about the crio barrells and choke set up for turkey hunting, but have not gotton through due to long hold time and large number of calls ahead of me ( I guess).. I was told there is a difference in the thread depth on the crio chokes and barrells? If I get any more info from my phone call with tech support I will share it with you...
  2. I have used the shoestring, it works great, you can also try fishing line.. Make a loop at one end for your hand and tug gently after wrapping around the handle....
  3. Thanks guys, I'll take your recommendation and work with those, or if any one else has any I'll idea... Thanks again...
  4. Thanks, There are so many different choke tubes to choose from?? I have a xtra full that came with my 835 and shoots very well out to 30-35yds... I've seen a few for sale at cabela's.... How much of a constriction should you use with #4's , #5's, and #6's ??? I've been told tighter the constriction the better, but I've read in some of the post here that #4's should not be used in tighter chokes due to deforming pellets and poor patterns. So how much choke or constriction should one use without over choking the pattern????
  5. Just bought a new benelli M2 with comfort tech chambered for 3". Shoots great for trap and skeet, I want to use it next year for turkeys for my son. It will be his first year hunting turkeys he's 12 years old.. I'm looking for advice on recommended chokes and loads??? Mostly chokes!! Don't mind spending a little money on ammo if it work well for my son...! I bought Hevi-shot 3" #4's and #6's, my local wal-mart had a good deal on them.. and I have Winchester 3" #5...use them in my mossberg 835...
  6. Awsome Job, I bet your dad's proud of you... Hope you have many more hunts like that!!!!
  7. A friend of mine just came back from serious training in the dessert, and told me try the militec. He says thats what they use in iraq and thier trainings in the dessert in california. He swears by the stuff... Where can I get some???
  8. I picked up the M2 on saturday, went to the range today and shot the 100 rounds for the break-in period. Shot very well, less recoil then my other guns. It was a pleasure to shoot, and I shot better with the M2 than my other guns. Wednesday night I'm going back to shoot skeet under the lights at night..I still have to pattern the gun for turkey loads that my son is going to use....
