http://www.shotgunworld.com/guncare.html go to bottom of page in center"Basic Shotgun Cleaning" this is a generic cleaning process and open owners manual and use it and i know it does not go into detail on cleaning but still use for reference on assy!make sure to use lint free cotton rags and find a place ya do not care about getting dirty to do it! were did the cosmoline come from? try here also http://www.vaapensport.com/ebennova.html try this link by going to benelli home page and find the "Links" tab and click on it and go to Italian section and click on english mode and check out their manuals goes into detail on stripping gun down and just remove dirt and crud with appropriate cleaner and make sure ya do not use caustic cleanears on exterior finish! I would use Hoppes #9 and fixxin to purchase some lube called MILITEC-1 since benelli lube is hard to find and just do not over lube and get brushes into all the tight spaces and repeat till its clean and just lightly oil interior metal surfaces!

As per the title.
I'm looking at buying an M3 second hand, it has a 28" barrel with removable choke. I was wondering what type of choke is likely to be fitted?
I've seen Beretta Mobil chokes on e-bay, which I gather are compatible with certain Benelli shotguns. Are they likely to fit the M3?
Can anyone confirm whether this is the case?

Mobile chokes went out of manufacture 3 or 4 years ago and are mainly used on Berettas but can be used on OLDER Benellis and this chart should clear that question! also on benellis home page go to shotgun accesories and find oem choke page and at bottom of page it list which oem chokes you can use! probablycame with a cylinder choke as per the 04 catalog! C/S will answer most question in a timely manor over telephone EST!!

Guys I have seen a few other threads on here about this but most of them are a little older. Do they make a recoil reducer that goes in the stock for the SBE 2? If so, do they help? Thanks in advance!
do not think so but according to benelli website under parts and accessories they have them fo SBE/M1 with synthetic stocks? nova has them also!

I just bought a SBEII. I bought a RH model and am a left handed shooter (I know, seems stupid but the dealer gave me a deal I could not refuse). Anyway, I want to change the safety on my gun so that I can push the safety without reaching under the trigger guard. I think the safeties on the Benelli's are swithable, anyone know for sure or know what the procedure is to do it. Thanks for the info.
so did ya loose your right hand in the deal? swithable/reverable i bet it could be done and do not let LT's smith work on it!!

Some people have nothing good to say about anything? LMAO Why would the factory tubes not be any good, i feel that they would suffice for most applications and people just want something NEW $ EXPENSIVE BUTT whats to say that aftermarket manufacturers have not done their home work and i expect the differences to marginal at best!! But i am an native arkanite and what would i know!!

I got a new SBE 2 for Christmas 2 years ago and I love it. I shoot 2 3/4 for squirrels and ringneck and stuff but I use 3" mags for Turkeys. My question is can you adjust the SBE 2 in any way to lessen the recoil of the turkey loads? I think I once read a post where you could adjust the SBE 2 to where you could shoot any load with one hand is this true and if so how??
You bet 3 1/2' Hevi-shot or winchester ER and graber with one hand, will build those muscle real quick, seems after 2 years you would be strong by now? try some waterfowl hevi-shot one handed now that will get ya strong real quick!!

Good clip and i think the first shot was a hit? Whitetail do not jump that high for no reason!! I also do not think he is that bad a shot cause i have seen some footage elsewhere when they were riding arould in one of those swamp rigs with that crazy motor config mud buddy? and it should be against the law to have that much fun!! and probably is in LA or AR check out http://www.gator-tail.com they are doing some wild things on some of their sample videos!!

Seems Duck Commander has for real put the Brownings down and is a full fledged Benelli carrying DUCKAHOLIC!! This guy and his family live about 80 miles from my home and i know what kinda ducks they can get into and they live and breath ducks!! check them out at http://www.duckcommander.com pretty good site some sample video clips that are great viewing and lotta stuff/forums/junk!!

I called benelli, and the guy said it does make a difference if its shouldered properly, and that could certanily be why its doing it.
SO, I had some time, and since I had more hevishot to burn(100.00 worth:p ), I went to the range again, and held it to my shoulder VERY TIGHT and I didnt have one jam, untill the very last shell , when I actually remeber not holding it tight, I must have been excited, becuase in my mind, I was saying, WOW, this is working.
Now I need to decided weather I can live with a gun that does not cycle all the way, if I dont shoulder it properly. I think I know the answer.

Thanks for service!! Seems you guys should have all the inside scoop on spare parts!! When i was in my supply Sgt was the person to know!! Just spend about 10 minutes looking here and you will find most of what ya need, me not owning one i really do not keep up with parts for them but seems they have went up in price since Benelli quit selling them and if ya have LEO capability you should be able to get whatever ya need probably! Welcome HOME!! I served in Shield/Storm and it's nice to come home !!

Hi guys, I was wondering what was out there in the way of upgraded parts for the M4. Things like bolt handles,etc. Also is ther anythign new in the way of tactical light miunts abd such? Thanks.
Search funtcion works well and groups of info but it's spread out cause everyone wants a new thread on the same subject, why i guess they are confused on where search button is or how it's used? but aftermarket parts there are a group talked about all over this site! Just dig a little and troll a little and you will be on your way to M4 Heaven with all the bells and whistles good luck!!TB just do not tell me you are in sandland and they aren't giiving yall what yall need to do your job cause that would make me ILL!!

I have been looking for a clamp to hold my mag extention (the current one comes lose and flies off never to be heard from again). Will a 1 inch clamp work on a M3? What measurement is 1 inch measured from? Is it from the extention to the barrel? The diameter of the barrel?

seems all ya need to do is install a thin piece of rubber matt between mag tube and barrell and see if ya could not just tighten it down with some german torque. That or call a smith and ask the same question? call benelli C/S? ya might give one of these guys a holler or insight technoligies inc they make the benelli light assy for benelli!

wikipedia has some good articles on how chokes work and a lotta the manufacturers really go into detail about their brand cause they want your $$$. I just purchased an Primos Jellyhead .660 and should be her in 5 to 7 days and plan on using winchester E/R's in it and i think benelli has a little video on their site about choke tubes which is good C/R material but ya gotta talk to whomever ya will be shooting with if ya will be shooting with someone the can give invaluable input and Briley Manufacturing, Rhino Cases and Primos will all gladly answer your questions with a group better knowledge than MOST, chokes are not that hard to figure out ya just need to google them and dig,dig for info!! Check out Shotgunworld.com they have some good info on some of their pages!! Good luck and fit your gun to your body then patterrn once ya get the choke and load ya going to use or thinking of using!! i am sur mudhen would be a great person to search his post on the subject he has considerable experience in the choke info process!! If ya can't find it under post from SOCOMguy on this page you probably are not looking but there are a couple ways i have read about and the heat gun and ovenmit would be the one i would use, the insert in oven method really does not work for me! would also use sparingly a low temp loctite to install new one but some people say they do not use it?

Seems to me that during the upcoming elections we need to do our HOMEWORK on all the ANTI-GUN Politicians, by just doing a little research on how they voted on Gun Control issues and we pretty much know what will happen if we do not!! So ya know whom ya voted for in the past and chances are their views have not changed, BUT only takes a little diggin to uncover the WORMS! they can flip flop on us with out blinking an eye!! We have a voice in the if/when this issue will pass/fail so pop a letter to your Rep and see where they stand and then double check their positions closely!!

Use it all the time Works well Just a little dab wil do ya. Used it up here in the frozen north and in the big sand box no problems.
I was reading about after application that ya wanta heat it with hair dryer but not over 150 Degree's, do you do this and then wipe it dry or leave it as is? Was hearing good stuff from lotta Gi's about it being so much better than CLP and that it had a weird property of adhering to metal? Guess i am sold and will order some because benelli oil is quite hard to find in NM, Thanks!!

Heres how my M1 is jamming. This has happened on both my brand new M1, and my older M1.
The gun stays clean, and is lightly lubed.
This is with both 3" Kent TM, and Remington Hevishot
My older gun had both the Surecycle spring, and the Sure Cylce mag kit.
The gun, normallly on the third shell, will get stuck half way, and I hope I describe this correctly, the spent shell will eject, and the shell in the magazine will pull up, and will get stuck halfway, right in the middle of the reciever, meaning its stuck halfway between the bottom of the reciever, and the top of the reciever, and doesnt push itself forward.
PLEASE HELP!, This gun fits me perfect, and I really dont want to get rid of it.
Should I try another type of ammo.
Any help is much appreacitated.

since this is happening on 2 guns i would lean towards ammo but do a search on "Jamming" and you will probably find that shells that will not cycle ya just do not use? it is unusual for hev-shot to cause problems and i would probably call C/S on that issue!

Just give Briley a call i am sure they can answer any slug question you could dream of and as far as their products, i have heard nothing negative but iam sure someone will have heard something! 1-800-331-5718 Central TZ i have no experience with rifled slug chokes but if ya gotta rifled slug barrell i would expect it would be a rifled slug choke and i have only used the antique smooth bore slugs and they are pretty accurate to a reasonable distance! Hey also check out shotgunworld.com theyhave a slug forum and ya might find something there!!

I use an American Security and it will not be carried out by a crack head in middle of night , weighs about 850lbs and has numerous guns in it and very happy with quality! check them on the net!! If it gets carried out he might be surprised cause all my guns are not inside it!! Not a cheap walmart grab and run safe this was purchased from a lock and key dealer which sells quality safes and got it at a discount due to last years model and they were closing it out!!
