  1. The current one, the one you picture, is actually meant to work on the OEM stock. The Urbino will have one made for it as well.

Good luck getting the stock sling loop out.

  2. For the rubber butt pad, it's kind of like anal sex, you don't think it will fit in there... but it does.

I can't see a reason for you needing to remove the butt pad. You should just unscrew the stock from the receiver, slip the sling mount up the receiver extension, then screw the stock back into place.

An excellent ANALogy, my dear sir.

I also thought of this similarity at one time when I forced my way into the rear buttpad and screwed off the rubber.

    :D

  3. Is it just me, but is that all you do is try to talk trash and instigate issues? Were all here for the same reason, for the love of guns and the shooting sports, to share knowledge and expand our minds and acquire new information. But all I've seen you do is put people down and talk trash about everyone else opinions and thoughts...

It's true, I do plenty of that now.

I think it has to do with the fact that the Benelli market is just so damn stale and boring compared to lots of other gun markets and forums I participate on ... I mean, Benelli has come out with what, only a few new (boring) models in recent years, and there are only a few aftermarket parts to discuss ad naseum. It's the bane of producing a nearly perfect product I suppose ... there aren't many new changes that need to be implemented as the years go by. As such, I get bored discussing the same thing over and over, and you know, idle hands and all that stuff. It's either stop posting on this forum (which I've done for months at a time) or find a way to make this forum not so boring.

After answering thousands of times the dozen or so questions that repeatedly get asked and answered seemingly every week ("IS THE M4 922r LEGAL? HOW HARD IS IT TO TAKE THE MAGAZINE TUBE OFF? HOW DO YOU TAKE THE STOCK OFF?" etc), you're right, I get sick of being helpful. I'd rather be a dick and trash talk the people who have been here awhile, who I know will take it in stride and return fire.

If my sarcastic antics offend you, I apologize. But not really. It's not my fault you're a sensitive sally with no sense of humor. Perhaps you should ask your doctor to step it up to prescription strength Vagisil, as the OTC strength clearly isn't cutting it for you.

You may now return your attention to the AARP card carrying member who started this lame thread to showcase his beat up female model gay gold embroidered mossberg. He currently is trying to liquidate his trailer in order that he can afford to be the highest bidder for this timeless piece of art:

  4. I'm so suprised at this forum,,all the wealth of knowledge that SEEMS to pour out when a newcommer asks a Question,,where are they now when the oldtimer barks???,,only the brave have tried to answer,,HINT: I brag about this gun

Sorry, I only care about working guns, not safe queen trophy guns.

  5. I use the back of my thumb to do this. Hold round in hand, push carrier back with back of thumb, insert new round.

Then again, I've only done it a few times and never really have had to practice it.

People also use the weak hand bolt carrier group underhand racking technique quite well, I imagine you could throw a round in while doing that with a little bit of practice.

Long story short ... use a rifle, not a shotgun, if you think you'll need distance.

  6. Thanks guys for sticking up with me. And "m1014" thanks for the PM (cant reply with my post count). I was beginning to think i was crazy. This will be my first actual shotgun purchase. I shot a friends m1014 a few years back and a few other m4's so this is def the gun for me. I live in NY where we cant have collapsible stocks, is the m1014 a true fixed stock or is it 2 positions (all the way opened/closed)?

I also live in NY. There has never been a single 922r case tried or convicted, here or in any other state. The collapsible stock BS is a joke.

M1014 can bad mouth me all he wants in private, that doesn't make my logic any less sound or your logic any more sound.

This is your first shotgun ... and you plan on blowing 3g's on an old model M4 simply because it's "Limited Edition"? Seriously?

You shouldn't think that you're crazy, you should KNOW that you're crazy.

  7. you are really starting to show low I.Q. points after this comment!!so how exactly does it "NOT" shoot a shotgun shell the same or at the same speeds?????

i guess you REALLY dont understand the concept, "Limited Edition"!!! you know where not many were made MAKING it more valuable than your plain ol m4!!Um maybe he wants to collect more RARE valuable weapons than you!! some around here can actually afford it Duggan and YOU need'nt beat him up/put them down for it!!!;)

Low IQ ... that's rich. I have a degree in economics, so I think I have a pretty good grasp on the basic premise of supply and demand, thank you.

It's less capable because it has less features. The recoil tube isn't milled to allow the collapsible stock (that you so dearly love) to collapse, it doesn't have interchangable choke tubes, and it uses the 4 gas port barrel that beats up shell carriers. Clearly, the lack of these features makes the flag and serial number worth the $1500 premium.

You're right, I don't understand the concept of paying double the price for 90% of the shotgun. "Limited Edition" doesn't mean a thing if that limited edition is less capable than a brand new, commonly available, superior in every possible way alternative.

A less capable version of the same thing isn't rare and desirable, it's outdated. Do you want to buy my neon purple 1996 Honda Civic? Only 50 of them were made in that color so it's rare as can be, and clearly is worth 2x what a new Civic would cost.

It's not a matter of "being able to afford it", it's a matter of why on earth would any sane person WANT to buy it in the first place.

Go ahead and waste your money, I don't give a ****. I'll happily sit here and laugh at your foolish antics.

As I said before, if the gun is being purchased for use solely as a paperweight, more power to you. If you actually plan on using the gun ... you're batshit crazy choosing the M1014 over the 11707.

  8. Theres no "fake" M4. The m1014 is a limited run (2500 made) M4 made to commemorate the Marine model. What makes it different from a regular M4 is a fixed skeleton stock, USA flag insignia, and its assigned number 1-2500. The M4LE is the same as the current model M4 but before 04. The M4LE was made pre-2004 Assault Weapons Ban, when only LE could own the gun. Now all the M4's are stamped "M4".

I really dont know where your gettin at. This is more of a collectors item than anything. If you notice as soon as one is posted for sale at $2500-3000, somehow its sold in less than a few days.... Everyones got their own favorites...

I'm well aware of the model differences.

I am curious is to why anyone sane would pay $1000-$1500 extra, the cost of an entire additional m4, to buy an outdated, less capable model of the same shotgun ... assuming that you're actually going to use the shotgun, and not just let it be a paperweight.

If you're doing it just for the flag and serial number ... well, I guess that's your right to do, but that doesn't make it any less illogical.

This isn't some exotic, priceless woodgrain, custon artisan crafted weapon ... there is nothing unique or special about the M1014. The fact that they sell for $3000, if they really do, is just testament to how utterly ridiculous some people are. It's like buying a limited edition Ferrari 360 when for the same money you could buy 2 Ferrari 430's.

A fool and their money ...

ETA - I'm really not trying to be a dick, I just hate to see people waste money on something that they wrongly perceive to be of higher value ... thus why I'm curious as to exactly why you want a M1014 specifically. If you want it just to mount on a wall or put in a safe and be like HAHA IVE GOT AN ORIGINAL M1014 IM THE ******* MAN WHAT NOW BITCHEZZ all the more power to you.

  9. I meant to post this earlier, but due to moving and being out of touch etc I've been distracted.

I received my rail a week or so ago ... a flawless piece of finely machined metal, well designed and well produced. Not that this is surprising, given who is making it and what the design was intended to rectify.

Hopefully at some point I'll actually get around to shooting my newly capable m4 again.

  10. Oh hey look, more retarded showboating from the most retarded and hated training company around.

They claim to not support it ... but they want the attention and traffic brought from it.

Which is really what their company has always been about ... fraud and trying to ride the coattails of various events.

I remember they caught tons of flack from trying to get sales out of some marines death, saying that if he had their training he wouldn't have died or something.

Pretty much, screw Front Sight. There are plenty of other respectable training facilities that don't have a complete asshat for a frontman.

  11. Wait...what? Why should the magazine tube be factory? Kip's tube is rock solid. And Benelli's stock is perfect...if you're 6' 4" like me :D

He's crazy. Don't encourage his delirious delusional rambling.

He's also old enough to be certified as senile.

  12. since the M1014 is a limited edition of 2500,,when I found the SBE limited edition that is one of 500 PLUS it can interchange mag tubes and go from wood to plastic to camo AND have 3 1/2'' capability,,ohhh yeah,,different lengths barrells,,what a fine upgrade its been,,no regrets,,no M4/M1014 can come near any SBE of any model,,if you have ever owned both M4 AND SBE you know what I mean.have a nice day.

Clearly the Marines have it all wrong.

They should be using limited edition SBE's.
