3gungear makes nice side saddles that will fit the M3. You can find them at http://www.dillonprecision.com
I have one of these on every pump or semi shotgun I own.
Good work!!!
BTW: Did anyone try to use the Streamlight 870 adapter on the M4 to mount a light?
The diameter of magazin tube and endcap of the M4 can't be that much different from 870.
Hi!
My M4 came with a modified choke tube only. The choke is black all over.
Now I want to buy Cyl., IC and full chokes. But all the Benelli chokes I can find have the usual mirror finish. So is there a difference in Benelli chokes for sporting guns and the Benelli chokes for the M4 besides the color/choating? Where can I get the real M4 chokes?
I would recommend IC for shooting Slugs.
Look at this chart:
http://www.remington.com/products/accessories/gun_parts/remchoke_specs.asp
Remington uses the same diameter for IC and their rifled chokes (specially for slugs).
If you meassure slug barrels they usually have a typical IC diameter.
My M4 came with a Modified Choke only. It is perfectly save to shoot rifled slugs (Brenneke style).
Can anyone confirm which choke is used by our troop in the field?
What is holding me back buying a (Super) Nova is there are no short 18"-20" barrels with a removable choke.
Is is possible to special order a gun or barrel like this?
I think there is a problem installing this choke by a gun smith because the Benellis have a chromed inner barrel. Is this true?
Most Benelli semiautos have a removable choke even with 18.5" or 20" (just see the M4). Why do they make the Nova only with a fixed cylinder?
Thanks Mesa Tactical! I'm honored.
You do a great job. I really like your work... but with your hook loop the hook is not in line with the receiver. The hook is 90° turned of the gun. This might be uncomfortable to carry all day. I just want to keep the profile of the M4 as low as possible.
Yes, I use a nut on the opposite side.
