  1. To paraphrase, it sounds like... "You can't handle a Beneli!!" Sorry, couldn't resist. I looked around and decided to go with the best.
  2. I have had my M4 for a couple of weeks now and it came with one choke installed. According to the reference 3 notches indicate a modified choke?. So far I have shot bird shot and 00 buck. I was wondering if it is OK to shoot slugs with this as well? I have seen from some other posts that the gun should have been shipped with additional chokes. I am going to follow up with Benelli as I saw some others had to see if I get them direct. I am still new to shotguns, so I need to learn what ammo to use with what, BTW - My boys and I took the Benelli with the EOTECH site out to shoot clays last weekend, after reading some posts here. Man, what a hoot, we had a great time, and found another reason to go shooting with the Benelli. This was the first time any of us had tried to shoot clays, and the Benelli sure made it seem easy...

    M3 in Tx?

I also live in Houston. Try the local gunshows, I usually see some Benelli's there.
  5. Thanks for all the info guys, sure enough it's a snap once you start at the right end..... story of my life I'm heading to the range tomorrow with my two boys to give it try...
  6. Finally got my M4 (11707) Yesterday! It came with the mag extension and collapsable stock separate. The mag extension was no problem, but I can't find any instructions for removing the fixed stock w/pistol grip so I can put on the collapsable stock. The manual shows the diagram of parts. I can get the recoil pad off and the stock retaining nut, but that's as far as I got. Can't get the stock retaining piece or stock retaining spring off. Can anyone give me some more details or refer me to some instructions to change out this stock? I thought that this gun was easy to break down down and swap stock without tools. If that's the case, I am not seeing it for the stock. Thanks,
