  1. I have a new Nova that I'd like to reverse the safety on. Benelli says I'll burn in **** if I try to do it myself, and others say it's not that bad of a job. Has anyone here done it, and how difficult was it to accomplish? As for my gunsmithing skills, I build 1911's and have been doing gunsmithing on SIGs, HK's, Browning rifles, and 1911 for years. I'm quite happy to send the trigger group to Benelli if I need to, but if not I'd rather save the time and expense. Any ideas? Thanks! Specialized
  2. I like it. If you decide to make them, please let me know -- I will buy one. Thanks! Specialized
  3. I bought a 24" SBE barrel for my SBEII LH, because where I grouse and pheasant hunt the 28" barrel feels like I'm swinging a telephone pole. My gun is black, but I still think you'd be better off buying the 24" SBE LH barrel and then having the camo coating added. There are a good handful of places that do this, and I'm sure Benelli could do it as well, though probably for more money. Just a thought. Specialized
  4. Hmmm, good input. I may be hosed anyway, because what I really need is the 14" LOP pad, and the Sims will be much thicker than that. I'm not too worried about it being hard to remove, because I don't intend to remove it once I have the stock/pad dialed in the way I want it, but it's definitely not good if the pad just falls out! Does anyone know of a supplier that has the 14" gel pads in stock? I'm finding that Benelli parts are scarcer than hen's teeth! Any help you could provide would be much appreciated. Thanks! 5. The cost of Benelli's ComforTech pads is obscene. I just ordered a Sims Vibration Laboratories LimbSaver pad from MidwayUSA for $31 plus shipping, I'm hoping it will work out okay. It's supposedly a pop-in replacement for the stock pads for Novas and SBE's. I love the CT pad on my SBEII, but the hockey puck that came with my Nova has to be replaced and I don't want to spend $90 with tax, shipping, etc. to get another one! I'll post the results once I've gotten the pad and shot a few rounds with it. Specialized
