I own both the 1 and 2. i can not tell the difference recoil. I do not fell it hunting, but my shoulder does when I am home. I have never had a problem with either gun. The work flawlessly.

I have tried many pheasant loads over the years. Their Golden Pheasant load is by far the best, if you buy the high velocity GPX stuff. Nickel plated anf 1,400 plus fps is a pheasant killer.

I went with the montefeltro. I loved the balance and feel of this little gun. I just wanted to own a wood Benelli. Thanks for the replys, I hope this is a good board.

SBE II. Hands down this is the best shotgun on the market. If I could only own one this would be the gun.

I have a couple SBE's a 1 and 2. I like the legacy, but I will be going up and down snow covered mountains. I do not want to destroy a gun like the legacy. I am held up on the choke tubes. I like the longer tubes, which the montefeltro does not have. I can not find a M2 around here, every one has pleanty of montefeltros but no M2. I am thinking of buying the montefeltro because of this.

Which one would you guys buy?? I want one for hunting quail and chukar. I have numerous 12 gauge guns but want a small light weight gun. Does the 20 M2 have the longer crio tubes like the SBE II??
