  1. I ended up with an M4 pistol grip stock (not the collasible) that I don't need and want to unload... cheap. I know, they're not exactly in high demand. $55 shipped in the CONUS. If you're interested, email me at [email protected]
  2. Thanks guys for the advice... after some further email exchanges the person has apologized and admitted he was mistaken. All is well. Best, Dave
  3. I sold my M4 online--my listing was true and correct. The buyer is accusing me of fraud--I listed the gun as unfired and it was. This was his email to me; "I am curious why you made three seperate and distinct representations in your listing that the unit was unfired, and why you thought you would get away with this fraud?" I have offered for him to return the gun for a full refund and I will pay shipping. He is not returning my emails or phone calls. How does this playout. Can someone file a lawsuit over something like this. It isn't that I have done something wrong--I have NOT. I don't want the expense of going to court to prove it. Anyone have something similar happen to them?

    Am I misinformed?

How about in CT? Anyone familiar with Conneticut laws?

Thunderbolt, Just for clarification--then this configuration is compliant with federal law: Correct?
  6. That's fair enough and thanks for the clarification. My post wasn't meant as a character attack... I was just trying to get a feel for where you were coming from. That's one of the problems with message boards--you can't see the other person's disposition when they're "talking". Anyway, it struck me odd that you seemed to be saying what Tom said (his rationale to use the easyhit) as the exact reason why you shouldn't use it. Now you've got me curious about fitting a gun... I'm a newbie and I'm learning. Thanks, Dave
  7. Given what you said you shouldn't even have a bead... regarding your last paragraph--in the video that comes with the easyhit, Tom Knapp says the exact same thing and his point being that it is easier to do with the easyhit. Are you saying the product advocates shooting with one eye? Have you used the product?
  8. 1. I have only used one size so I don't really have a point of reference--mine is the 3.0 red orange. 2. I think it's a personal preference. 3. As I said--mine is the 3.0 and I haven't used the smaller so I don't have a point of reference. 4. You remove the front bead... the easy hit was very easy to install--you basically line it up on the top rail and that's it. 5. My gun, a Beretta 686, doesn't have the center bead so I can't say for sure--but the premise of the easy hit is to eliminate any chance of not being having a proper mount--you can't see the glowing red dot if you don't have the gun mounted properly. 6. I haven't tried to remove it so I can't answer--actually I can't imagine EVER wanting to take it off--it's that good.
  9. I got mine from Numrich. They are currently sold out. See the following link; http://www.e-gunparts.com/DisplayAd.asp?chrProductSKU=980370&chrSuperSKU=&MC=
  10. Thanks for the responses... yes I'm looking for a semi-auto. I have a Beretta 686 OU 20 gauge with a 28" barrel. The gun mounts very nicely and I'm having good results except when it comes to doubles--hence I want a semi-auto. I haven't looked at the super sports--I'll give them a look and pass on the SBE. As for googling it I have... I come to this forum for advice from people who have first hand experience with the gun I'm looking at. Any other gun suggestions?
  11. Hey all, I've decided on getting an SBE 2 for sport shooting. I don't do any hunting... My son and I just started with skeet and plan to eventually move to trap and sporting clays. Which barrel length would you recommend? I'm new to all shotgun sport shooting. Any help is very appreciated. Dave
  12. Well I feel like a bit of a dolt for posting my question... after going and actually giving it a try it threaded right on. You placed your order on October 26? You need to give them a call. I placed my order on December 5th and it arrived today. I really like this stock. It gives the gun a totally different feel--shoulders so much better. Snaps right into a good feeling mount. I have tried the standard pistol grip and the collapsible stocks and this is the one that will stay on the gun. Thanks again everyone. Dave
  13. Hi all, This is my first post. I've been lurking for awhile--I'm very thankful to all the helpful people here. Ok, here's my question; I just got my standard stock from Numrich and I'm trying to figure out how to mount the thing. I thought it would mount just like the other stocks... meaning the inside of the "neck" would be threaded (like the pistol grip stock and the pistol grip of the collapsible stock) and it would simply thread onto the receiver. However no threads on this thing. Can someone who has this stock throw me a bone?
