Hi guys, I am having a lot of problems with the hunt of the picatinny rail for my R1 Argo. It came with iron sight but no pictanny rail... I dont find the pictanny rail anywhere.... So, I think I am going to buy a blank and drill the holes... Can somebody help me with the meassure the picatinny rail base?... The blanks are sold in 2 meassures, narrow and wide, so I am looking the best-fit. Also the lenght pls Wide .875" (22.2mm). or Narrow .615" (17.1mm). ? Thanks a lot

Tucker, I have no experience with this but.. I have seen blank picatinny rails like this... http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=8804&title=PICATINNY+BASE+STOCK If I buy one I guess it only needs the holes to be drilled? they are precontoured... I understand by precontoured that they have a rounded bottom so it can fit nicely with the gun reciever... Am I right?... will they work? Thanks again.. joe

Hi everyone... does somebody knows about other store who sells the Rail for R1 rifles?... Cals armory it seems like a fraud Im about to make a legal move on them... they dont have a phone number and its been over a month and I dont know anything about my rail. ooh.. the inserts that blocked the holes are hard rubber I pushed them yesterday.. Regarding the mounting rail I want the picatinny cause I've read some comments about it and it seems that a good combination is the QRW from leopould and the Picatinny rail... Is there any other good combination known to you? And again if someone knows where to find the specific picatinny rail I will appreciate it... I just cant find it... I found one at midway but is stock out. Thanks a lot.

Hi, my R1 Argo wood didn't came with the picatinny rail... Does any one know a fine substitute? or where I can find it?... Also, this is my first rifle and I see the holes where the scope base mounts are suppoused to be placed are tappered .. how do you remove that steel inside? Thanks a lot...
