There is someone on shotgun world forum asking if shooting 3" magnums through his Panzer Arms M4 clone will help break it in. Will it help break it in or just break it?

I’ve only shot maybe 1500 of back aces buckshot and slugs thru it.Haven’t seen much wear on receiver

Thanks for posting.  I have always thought that even just replacing the bolt and bolt carrier, shell catch, lifter, and trigger group would do wonders for a clone.  And much cheaper than a Benelli M4.

the c stock, so the tube you bought threaded right in to reciever no issues?  What brand is your clone?

Toros/Four Peaks Copolla T4 .Yes ever Benelli part  mounted right up to it Plus I sold of my Turkish barrel and bolt and trigger for like $350 .So only into reciever for like $250

Hey man, I'm doing the exact same thing over here.

Bought the T4 clone and regretted after the first 100 rounds.

So also gonna make this my project and replace everything except the receiver.

How's its handle so far? I'd imagine no issues since it's a benelli now lmao

Runs same as my real Benelli.Glad I did it .Was a fun project. And in about what a real Benelli costs and has all aftermarket

yea I am sure it is a great product, but there is no way a m4 ch should be running north of $50-60 bucks

not when Midwest Industries is $27.50 and TTI for $45

Forward Control Designs is working on one according to their owner Roger and if its anything like their other parts, it may be the best one released, I expect a hefty premium on that though, probably $75-100 I would not be surprised, but could be wrong

Maybe switch hobby if you can’t afford parts for your m4.Or just leave it stock then

The rxarms is twice that amount so I'd say it doesn't make sense either.

Got to remember these is titanium that’s why there’s a price difference. You want a cheap handle buy a $20 one.Can afford a $1500 plus gun but can’t afford parts.Your in wrong hobby then

Ya I’m not saying it’s a bad failing design, I’m saying I think the OEM M4 design is a a better strong design.

The Benelli setup is better. But theres a big difference in price..And for someone that doesn’t want to spend the money on a real c stock .It will work

The rotating buttstock serves a purpose, it has a stationary pin that does not move, this pin is bullet proof when it comes to handling recoil and buttstock strikes.

an AR-15 style buttstock only point of contact would be the retractable pin if I am not mistaken.  IMO this is a weaker design for a shotgun.   The M4 buttstock and recoil tube is a much stronger design.

I would imagine the reason clones only use an AR15 style is because of the cost of making the Benelli aluminum cast/milled buttstock and recoil tube was probably too much $.

We have Turkish  clone stock on are shop gun.Have Acouple thousand thru it.No problems with the cheap stock.Has many more rounds thru it then normal m4 owners has in there’s

Providing an owner of a M4 18 inch model  is living in a free state and after doing the proper paperwork for a short barrel shotgun ,convert their already owned shotgun ? Is it just the matter of changing out the magazine tube & barrel ? or is it easier to sell the 18 inch model & just buy the 14 inch model ?

I bought a Leo trade in entry.Caneout to same price as buying a entry barrel and engraving.
