will hoppes hurt the camo finish on my gun

Stripped my M2 down except for the interia spring the owners manual never mentioned the inertia spring,gave it a good cleaning went out and shot a couple boxes of heavy field loads no problems,recoil seemed to be no worse than my 1187 the only difference I can see is it shoots as fast as I can pull the trigger. I do have 1 question with a boresnake do I put a little oil on it or just run it through my barrel dry. Thanks

I've read on other forums people having problems with their Benellis ejecting light field loads. I have a M2 that will be mostly used for dove hunting and I usually use Remington heavy field loads , except maybe the first couple of weeks I use light loads,do you all think I will have trouble with my gun cycling. thanks

I have a new M2 I will be taking to a dove shoot sat. Do I need to strip it down and clean it or just wipe off the oil thanks for the info.

thanks for the help I figured it out but i do have another question. When I shoulder and point the gun I see the whole rib instead of just the bead guess I will just have to experment might need to change to the Z shim

I have a new M2 trying to change the shims. When I got the stock off it had one shim marked DX. The lady from Benelli told me to take it off put the shim marked C on and then the shim marked DX, my question is those shims have ears on them and when you put them together the ears touch and you have a gap is that correct. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks
