Hi Everyone, It took me a while to find the right ammo for my SBE II slug gun. I finally found the right combo in the winchester platinum tip 400 gr sabot slugs. They have a muzzle velocity of about 1700 fps. Now I am told they no longer make this ammo. Just my luck. Can anyone help me with some alternative slugs that shoot well out of their SBE II slug guns?

I was able to produce similar results with my SBE2 with a wrights 650. From what I am told the Benelli's like a choke around 650.

Did anyone else see the torture test that was carried out by Guns and Ammo TV? They took a SBEII, and totally greased/oiled it trying to get it to jam. As far as I am aware it never did jam. It was pretty impressive.

Hi Everyone, I am looking for some advice. I have a rifled barrel for my SBEII. I want to get some sabot slugs for the barrel. Just wondered if anyone had some ammo brands that shot really well through their rifled barrels.

Congrats on the SBE II. Its a great scattergun. I have really enjoyed mine. I actually just got a rifled barrel for mine today. Can't wait to get some slugs down it.

I know that Tom Knapp had some issues and took some time off. However, I didn't realize he is no longer with Benelli at all. He is now shooting with CZ-USA? Anyone know what happened?

Tucker301, I don't disagree that Mudhen has surely helped numerous people on this site. I am sure you and Mudhen are extremely knowledgable. However, can you go back and read Mudhen's original reply and tell me how it helped anyone? I would hate to be ignorant and seeking assistance on this site, and get a reply like that.

I have a SBE2, 12 ga, 26 in barrel. I was wondering if anyone has tried the briley waterfowl chokes through their shotguns. I am thinking of trying an improved modified for geese, but would like to hear some input on these chokes first.

I would try your modified and your improved cylinder. See which works better. I seem to have more luck with my improved cylinder when shooting rifled slugs. Also, you may want to try to find a rifled choke for your gun.

Anyone use this on ther Benelli for wing shooting? How does it work? Any issues?

Probably a stupid question, but go ahead... call me stupid. Just wondering, It seems that everyone seems to have the same issue with their Benelli's shooting high left. Is there a reason that Benelli can't fix this? I too have had the same issue with my SBE II. Does the Vinci have the same issue? Sorry. I guess that's two questions.

I am heading to the range this weekend and was going to pick up a few boxes of rifled slugs to fire out of my SBE2. I am going to pick up a few different types. However, I was wondering if there were some oppinions on some types that I should be sure to pick up that work good for you out of your SBE2. Thank you for any help in advance.
