  1. WTF???? if it wasnt for what "the tea party people" started in the early yrs of this country, we'd still be run by the ENGLISH!!!!! and look now, the same sh-t is happening all over AGAIN!! OVER-TAXATION!! OBVIOUSLY you watch MSNBC/CNN......

Sorry i don't condone calling people F***ots and N***ers, spiting on politicians and saying they want to shoot people if the health care bill passes. I must be retarded.

And no I'm not talking about the early years, I'm talking about current events. This and that are completely different. It's a shame they're even calling themselves "The Tea Party" (because from what I hear those in charge of it have good intentions, it just doesn't help to have a **** ton of crazed followers)

  2. Just curious how that is possible? I ordered my tube on 19DEC and Kip called about 2 days later to say he would be in NM for a month, but I should have my tube by end of Jan/early Feb. Still don't have today, even though my credit card was charged 3.5 weeks ago.

I know everyone on this forum loves Kip, but come on. I don't mind waiting as long as it's not on my nickel. Almost a month after being charged I still don't have my tube, Kip does not respond to email and his voice mail inbox is full and will not accept messages. Very unprofessional.

once you get it and install it, all those bad memories will go away. there will be only happiness as you look at your m4 with a nice new full length mag tube loaded up with 7+1 2 3/4 an inch shells.

  3. It is understandable that there are liabilities when buying any product whether corporate or made in a garage. I think what texas n them are saying is that they understand the liabilities when buying product from someone who spent alot of time trying to hand craft a part (much like the full length mag tube which is awesomely made). They'll take the risk onto themselves and if worse comes to worse they probably wouldn't sue knowing the risk they are taking. Also speaking of this gas piston it seems the danger to the user is relatively low, if he were to sell like special incendiary ammo made in his garage it'd be different. It's a small piece of metal that moves back and forth via gas. I think someone should do the research on what the worst case scenario really is if this piston fails.

But i also agree with h.bowman because regardless of your personal values... the law exists... it's there whether we like it or not and so do liabilities. Even if Texas, you wouldn't sue pana for a defective product chances are there is someone on this forum who would. i think h.bowman was just letting pana know that there is a very real consequence when doing business if he should fail to make the product up to snuff.

it's really up to the buyer and seller to make whatever contract and liabilities known. maybe pana can sell his product with a liability waiver to keep himself safe or something who knows. I don't think h.bowman was really trying to rain on everyone's parade he just does tend to think more about the legal aspect of things... though his attitude of I'm right, you're wrong does tend to rub people the wrong way. I'd suggest taking a less... abrasive approach.

  4. needcash makes a good point for any situation you'd probably need to have multiple guns... but this thread seemed to be more of a fantastical thread where you would mix in being tacticool and having variety and you went and ruined it with good points and logic...

  5. Then my personal favorite, a 350 lumen output monster. It even strobes. At 350 lumens, a strobe will melt the face off of someone like the Nazi in the raiders of the lost arc.

This quote is... Fantastic... The visuals! They're hilarious.

  6. Waste money? what else are you gonna do... horde it? so when you die the gov't can take it? or give it to your kids... so they can waste it? live some man. you can take your defense gun out to the range, you can't drive a model car.

gun is to home def gun as model car is to sports car, is incorrect...

it'd be more like gun is to home def gun as economy car is to sports car...

and trucks are meant for hauling or off roading. There main function isn't to go 55 MPH.

welp.. thats why I own a truck. I figure if the speed limits 55 then theres no need in gettin something that would go 160...

By all means. Defense guns look pretty sweet when they are put together. But so does a model car. They are both used about the same...but people still waste money on both.

  7. It's just that it's more of a hobby than practicality. Most of the people here on these forums have probably never been and will never be a victim of a home invasion. It's just something to pass the time and spend your money on. If you like it, and it makes you happy then do it. If that requires buying a M4, putting optics on it, a different rail with a flashlight, and all other sorts of nonsense then so be it. It makes them happy so it's really not a waste in the end now is it :p

Think of it like buying a sports care, you'll rarely get a chance to take it to full speed... but you have it!

I HAVE ZERO PROBLEMS WITH THOSE STATEMENT! That is exactly what im talking about! My point was about "defense" guns. My benelli turkey buster W/28in bbl would kill a man just as your M2 will. I just dont see the point in tactical stocks, breech chokes, flashlight mounts, Tactical sights, lasers, mag extensions, etc. If I cant kill 3 men with 5 buckshot/slugs I am in trouble from the start!

I keep 12 turkey loads (1 box #6 and 1 box #4) just for hunting. But if it comes down to it, ill gladely blow someones face off. But i also just came out of deer season so I have about 7 Brenneke black magic (600 grain!) slugs beside my bed along with some 00 buck busters just incase i see a coyote and dont wanna waste my slugs! haha.. but once again, if I have to use those 00's or the slugs, I WILL!

But its not that I dont believe in protecting ones house. I just dont believe in spending an AAAAASSSS TON of money in doing so. No one needs training. No one needs fancy equipment. I would actually prefer if it was pitch dark. I believe i know my house a bit better than some common thief. I dont need any special training or practice to put a bullet through someone..especially when my gun shoots MANY projectiles...

  8. hahahahaha, I don't care one way or the other, but this just seems really... arbitrary.

This is what people are worried about!? seriously??? I dunno i'd be more worried about bits of metal tearing through my flesh rather than if the optics on their rifle had bible vs. "hidden" on them.

  9. Do Slugs and my M4 with the Factory Choke go well? I have many 1oz left from a Vegas Shoot Meet back in 92.

Fairly sure that the factory choke is mod, so it should shoot fine as long as its one of those rifled slugs and not a sabot. I think... if I'm wrong someone will correct me soon enough.

  10. Does Texas pay you for advertising for them? :p (i actually plan on moving from California once i finish my Master's... Texas, AZ, Colorado i here good things about those places)

hey BB, texas is a great place to live. i wish i had moved here 20 yrs ago!! i too lived all of my 43 yrs of life in CRAZIFORNIA except for the last 3 yrs. and texas ROCKS!! no i cant help you with the weather cause it gets very hot here for at least 4 months, and yes you could find acreage with trees and a stream here in north texas. but the perks, well let me tell you!! this state loves conservative taxpayers, the majority of politicians here are conservatives!!;) the economy is one of the top 5 best in the country, housing prices are 1/3 of MEXIFORNIA's, lots of open land everywhere, great hunting everywhere, fully automatic guns ARE LEGAL!!! silencers are legal, 30 RD, heck 100 rd mags are legal!! bazooka's, grenades, claymores, tanks are all legal here!!! THATS RIGHT, LEGAL!!! im not even sure what is not legal here!!:D hope this info helps and good luck!! TS
  11. A minor technicality about the mixing of nationalities and races. i suppose being lazy causes me to have to write out about 10x as much. Point is you know what I meant and it is weird to me still that you would assume anyone who'd throw up a flag of another nationality is here illegally (or rather start talking about them even though they're not part of the current subject matter). As i was unaware of those extra laws protecting the American flag i will concede on this argument and chalk it up as extra knowledge to be learned, I don't want to spend the energy arguing on forums. Enjoy

  12. It matters a great deal which nation and which flag it is, because we have specific laws regarding OUR flag.

if you're expecting me to stand up for an illegal alien's right to display the flag of his/her native land on American soil, then you're subject to be greatly disappointed.

I pledge my allegiance to the flag under which I was born and to the soil underneath it.

Woah, who said anything about illegal alien. You do know that people can be Mexican, Asian, Black and still be considered an American. It's weird your mind automatically goes there.

but yeah, as an American i would expect you to stand up for the rights of your fellow American's even if they have a different view than you. Right's are rights, am i right? or do we just pick and choose who should have rights and who shouldn't based on our personal feelings?

  13. This is not Mexico, nor is it any other nation. The action in question does not revolve around the pole. It revolves SPECIFICALLY around the flag being flown. If it is within the federal guidelines, he will have his way imho, and I am glad.

Well while you guys digressed into a **** slinging contest... the main issue was lost.

Really it doesn't matter what nation this is or what flag it is, because we have this thing called freedom of speech. what you should be arguing about is his protection about that freedom. not throwing a fit because what it is he's expressing happens to be the same belief as yours. I'd expect us to fight for everyone's right to express their values. How does it revolve around the flag being flown if they're allowed to fly flags from their porch, i was under the impression it's because he actually had a flagpole in his lawn that the HOA wasn't to keen on. I agree people shouldn't use their military record as a reason their argument is correct. So lets look at it this way. An elderly man raises a flag that breaks the HOA guidelines and they ask him to take it down. They tell him he can have a flag hung from his porch. He doesn't want to. who's in the right and who's in the wrong without bringing his heroic feats into account. Why should it be different for any other symbol that someone values?
