Wanting to trade a standard fixed pistol grip stock for then non pistol grip hunting stock.

For a normal citizen to own a coll stock LE 11721 is this completely legal as long as the shotgun is in factory configuration? That is with the shortened tube? Now let's say we add the extension, or full length tube? Now are we legal?

the stock is on fine, the actual pistol grip is coming away from the stock.

What keeps the pistol grip attached to the M4 stock? Is there a screw? The grip on mine is separating from the stock body.

So if my M4 had an American made full length tube added to it, Mepro Night Sights, and everything else is OEM, the stock is the regular pistol grip stock. Is that legal?

The regular PG stock, does everyones move a little if twisted? I am wondering if I need to twist in around one more time. It doesn't even seem possible. Any insight?
Also how can I determine if my shotgun is the older 4 port version or the newer version? can I determine age from the serial?
