    I am a believer in the break-in process. These guns are machined to high standards, tight standards, and they need to be shot with some heavy stuff to knock off the tight edges, if you will. Some don't need it, some do. Lube it well, including the bolt rails, shoot some heavy loads through it, keep it tight on your shoulder, and it should be just fine. If you don't run some high brass through it, it will be o.k., it will just take longer to get the break-in process over with. I have a Vinci, and it shoots great. Enjoy your new gun..Mike

    I had to modify the swivels on the SBE, because I didn't like the angle that the forearm swivel was on. I took one from one of my other slings that I did not use, and it was fine. The sling itself is what you want. You may have to play with the swivels to get what you like. No big deal..Mike

    I use The ''Claw''. It is one of the few that I have found that stays put on your shoulder. It does not slide down, like the most of them..I have them on all my guns that require a sling..Mike

    It will make little difference. The choke is the determining factor. I turkey hunt with a SBE, 24'' bbl. No problem. I like the 24'', because of the maneuverability of it. (In a blind, if used). I have both the Nova and SuperNova in 24''. If that's what you want, don't hesitate. It will deliver..Good luck with your decision..Mike

    I have a pair of the pre-HD Golden Rings. I love the heck out of them. Mine are the straight power 10x42's. Can't really help you out with the switch powers, but you gotta believe that they would be up to the Leupold standard. Good luck with you choice..Mike

    Thanks. I bought an Indian Creek, and I think I am going to try a Rhino and/or a Pure Gold to compare them. I actually turkey hunt with a SBE l. Don't know if there is a difference in how the SBE l patterns vs. the SBE ll. I have a pretty hot set-up with a Hastings .660 and Win.Hi-Vel #6's. Just looking for a better mousetrap. May be switching to the Hevi-13's. I've got 11 months to play with it. Thanks Buddy..Mike

    Yes, my befuddled friend..It is not good to mix up your Hogs..:D I have a SBE l, SBE ll, Vinci, 2 Legacys, Nova, and a Super Nova.

    do need to talk to ya about a couple of things,,but first,,if you would Sir,,post a pic of your SBE beauty,,I've seen your awesome Legacys but not your latest,your Benelli collection seems to run parralell with mine,,thats truly scary,,
