You can tell just from looking at the literature that it's old.

You have to buy a set of snap ring pliers to do it. I'm not sure if they compress the ring inward or spread it apart but that's what you're supposed to use. I haven't done mine yet and may not. I kinda like the loop as is. If for nothing else, it works as a forward hand stop to reach around and pull back on.

I am curious about one thing though. Why do the shell caddies have such a low drop on them? I've never seen em like that.

it would be a huge hit - except in California we can only have two evil featurs on a shotgun. semi auto and pistol grip count for two therefore the adjustable stock makes it so evil that it is illegal.
Sucks for you. Not for most of us.

Someone milled a Beehive round down to 37mm and it exploded because it was too weak to handle the case pressures.The manufacturer will sell you one of the bee hive shells in 37 mm if you can show proof of NFA licensing of the flare launcher as a DD. $200 tax. BFD.

Hi I am new to this group. I just purchased a MR1, the gun looks great and shoots fast but I have one big complaint. I noticed that the ejected shells about 50% of the time are ejected back not to the side. I have noticed some damage on my receiver from the casings hitting it. At first I noticed 3 and thought that I did not notice them when I purchased the gun but after shooting 2 boxes of shells the number of marks have increased. These marks do not come off and I fear they are permanent. I am afraid to think what the gun will look like after 20 boxes of shells. I have noticed these marks on a youtube video. Are you guys haveing this same issue. Also with the shells going back the guys at the local gun range are not going to like me.
A gun is a tool, not a museum piece. If you're worried about a few blemishes, I would just stop shooting it altogether as you certainly won't be able to do any real training with it. A Sharpie or Super Black pen will work wonders if it bothers you that much.

Anyone have a phone number for the Benelli rebate department? I believe that I only sent in a copy of the extra UPC included in the box instead of the original. I'd like to call em before I mail something else out that might muddy the waters.

Yeah, they told me to add "a couple hundred bucks" for the c-stock when I looked into it a couple months ago.

EXCELLENT news! I'll be purchasing a black one myself. Trying to resist the urge to buy one from "the other guys" cause I know that anything from CarrierComp will be second to none in terms of quality.

That's awesome, you could go way forward with a Aimpoint Micro.
You'd also shed a lot of weight. That's one thing about your setup that struck me. Looks heavy.

I wouldn't worry about it. Unless you're using a long magnified optic, any variance probably isn't going to transfer into the optic. Should be good to dial your red dot in and drive on. It's just exaggerated as you look down the rail. Is it the short rail or the long rail which runs the entire length of the shotgun?
I think we all know though that if CarrierComp had made it, it would have been straight.

Would it not work to simply construct a taller replacement rear ghost ring and front sight post that would sit up higher in the sight plane? These little parts could just screw right into where the sights currently are.

No. You're confusing the old M1/M3 mount with the new M4 mount. GG&G now has a brand new mount made specifically to work on the M4. It's called the Benelli M4 Single Point Sling Attachment. See the link below.
