just got mine a couple weeks ago, but love it. waterfowl hasnt started yet, but busted a bunch of clays in my backyard so far with no issues.

how much for the max-4 pieces? what length is the barrel? if its longer id probably take it, if not ill just paint the one i have. im kinda sold on the flat black look.

picked up a used mossberg 500 for almost nothin as a spare gun. it works flawlessly but the exterior has seen better days. im thinkin of pickin up the hogue max-4 butt stock and fore end and painting the exterior metal flat black. my question is can i just use a high temp engine enamel for car engines or is hat not a good idea?

please bear with me as im new the the world of hunting/firearms. i just purchased my first gun a max-4 vinci. when cleaning/lubing how much oil is needed? do i just wipe down the parts with oil or put a couple drops in and work the action? ive read many other threads on gun care/cleaning so i think ive got that part down. but how often does the trigger group need to come put for a good cleaning? after every use? is it best to use a separate cleaner then use the benelli oil after its clean? or use a cleaning lube in 1 deal? do i soak the snake in cleaner before runnin it through the barrel? do i want to run an oiled cloth through the barrel after its clean? thanks in advance for dealin with a rookie!

i just picked up an Avery " greenhead gear" blind from cabelas last weekend. i got it with 6 full body goose decoys for 300 bucks. i think that sale is over but i could be wrong. havent used it yet but looks real nice. full price the blind is 259 without the decoys.

proud new owner of a 28" max-4 vinci. picked it up for $1263.50. best price ive seen and ive been lookin for quite a while. only put a few shells through it but WOW!!! i love this thing already.

well the vinci it is!!!! stopped by gander mtn today to check them out in person. the vinci felt much better than the SBE. and my cousin has a really good deer rifle he let me have for next to nothin. thanks for the input guys.

im in the process of buying my first shotgun. ive been wanting to take up hunting for many years now, and have finally decided to get it done. im trying to decide between SBE 2 and the vinci. i will mostly be hunting duck, goose, pheasant, and on occasion turkey. i really like the vinci, but my understanding is that there is no rifle barrel available for deer. my question is would i be better off buying the vinci and a separate deer rifle or the more expensive SBE 2 and the other barrel? is the SBE 2's ability to fire 3.5" that big of a deal? thanks in advance.
