dont get me wrong i really love my vinci. ill just be pissed because i went back and forth between an SBE and the vinci with the 3.5 inch option as the reason. everything about the vinci i liked better but would have liked the option to shoot the 3.5's. with the design of the vinci do you think just the barrell/ chamber will be available and interchangeable with the early ones? or are they gonna change something a little bit so you have to buy the whole damn gun.

if they release a 3.5 inch vici 8 months after i bought mine, im gonna be PISSED!!!

me and a couple buddies are plannin a trip next year. drivin down to texas gulf coast to hunt for a couple days then hit arkansas for a couple days on the way back. lookin for some advice on some good public spots and best time to go. not really lookin for mallards as we got a ton up here. lookin to do this as cheap as possible want to just camp where were gonna hunt. i know guys dont want to give up there sweet spots but any advice would be appreciated thanks.

r u using a wad stripping type choke? if so thats your problem. carlsons make a black cloud tube that comes in a long range model. i got mine at cabelas for 45 bucks. if you want to save a few bucks ill sell ya mine ( only like a box through it) if ya got time to wait for the shipping thing. choke patterned fine through my vinci just dont care for the black cloud( destroyed every duck i shot with it) ill send ya a pm with my phone number if ya got any questions.

if this is gonna be a huntin gun you might want to check your local regulations because most place have a limit to magazine capacity. here in wi were allowed 1 in chamber 2 in mag for waterfowl. a longer mag may not be worth it for you. i believe you can send your barrel to briley to be ported.

ok theres one thicker in the bag than whats in the gun. it says in the manual the marked side is for right deviation and the unmarked side is for left deviation. will move it right or left accordingly or is that for right or left handed shooters? thanks.

what exactly does the shim kit for the vinci adjust. im new the the world of guns and am not exactly sure what drop, cast, etc all do. do the shims adjust left to right or up and down? ive got shims A,C, and Z in the bag. my gun is shooting a tad high and left. thanks in advance.

carlson makes a black cloud choke for the crio plus system. cabelas has it for like 40 bucks or so.

havent used them, but in the current issue of wildfowl magazine they tested a few tubes and the long range tube with the heavy shot shells had like 90 something % at 40 yards if i recall.

i went through the same dilema. many people told me the 3 1/2 inch shell is the answer to a nonexistant problem. if you cant hit it with a 3 than you shouldnt be shootin at it. i got the vinci and love it! but my opinion is which ever gun fits you better and your more comfortable with. both are great guns.

i will for sure. my ol' lady wants to get into waterfowling with me. im not gonna buy her a good gun till i know she likes it. for now ill let her use the vinci and ill use the moss. also for those nasty days when you dont want to take a $1300 gun out. ( it'd be fine but still!) thanks again!
