  1. I have found Brownells skematics are great for tracking down factory parts. I belive they now use LPA, but I am not sure what they used when HK was importing them. There appears to have been two different rear GRS, with the one for the HK marked M1's looking more like stamped sheet metal rather than the milled LPA version.

Call Benelli, I have found they are quick at answering questions like this. Welcome to the board! :D

  2. I have a 6 shell side saddle from Mesa Tactical part number 90880. Its their Sureshell Shotshell Carrier.

This is a high quality piece that I installed on my M1 S90. Bummer thing is, I didn't realize I would cover my rifle sights with the rail portion "DOH!"

This is specifically drilled for the M4 or M1014 Benelli, but will fit on an M1 as well if you drill and tap the top of the reciever (gun smith charges about $30 bucks for this).

Rock solid unit, installed once with only two screws then taken off, never fired, comes in original packaging. I did notice one blemish in the finish around the first monting hole, see pic.

They want $89 plus shipping here:http://www.tacticalshotgunner.com/mesa-shot-for-benelli-p-198.html

My loss your gain, will sell for ***SOLD***

    USPS MO or Paypal (+4%)

  3. So I recently purchased a Mesa tactical side saddle for my M1, but it is the integrated rail/shell carrier made for the M4. Why you ask? Because my M1 receiver was already tapped to accept the M4 accessory.

I got a great deal on the carrier, but once I installed it... I realized it was now blocking my rifle sights. :o

So my dilemma begins, I could run a red dot like the Micro T1, I use a clone on my AR and have had zero issues. But I am leary of the shotgun recoil verses the AR's when it comes to longevity.

Or, I can just resell this side saddle and buy the option that retains the rifle sights.

    Opinions? thanks in advance.

  4. I searched but didn't see one... I was shocked! If I missed it let me know!

So, lets have an official picture thread. How about some specs of the gun and any add-ons.

I will start... here is mine the day it was brought home.

    *HK marked M1 S90.

*I painted the front site orange.

*Installed a Wolf +25% power spring.

    *Installed a Benelli factory extension.

*Swapped out for a field stock.

I will post an updated pic as soon as I get the Mesa shell holder installed.

*I have a Mesa rail/shell carrier on the way.

  5. I'd love it if the logo's were gone. Mine has 3 logo's all around the outside of the tube. I am glad to hear they have changed their mind. The peice is so quality, I can't imagine not recommending them to friends, the logo seems to be overkill.

  6. have one with 18.5,can a mag ext be put on it and whos got the best one...this is my first benelli, been use to remingtons how is these guns:cool:

You're gonna love the Nova, I think they are a great little gun for the $$$$. I ran 1000's of rounds through a pump gun for clays and it just plain ran.

  7. I have a Nordic Components +3 (Manufacturer #: EXT-BN-12-3) that is unused (though it was mounted on the gun) with the spring (NIB) I was going to sell. I found a factory extension here on the board, so I installed that instead. I bought it for my M1 but it fits all Nova's and SN's as well. Here is a link

It is a super high quality peice, the fit and finish are really first class. My only complaint is the logo's are a bit too much for my taste.

PM me if you'd like to discuss it more.

  8. I grew up in Florida and I would say you are right in trying to prevent any rust from forming through condensation. I would get a scrap of carpet at a local carpet store and rest it on that, or perhaps one of those grill mats that are more rubber in material. However, if you don't need to bolt it down. The hockey puck idea with air movement underneath is the best idea.

  9. Thanks Hookster, trying not to pay retail if possible. Looking for a used one sitting on someones shelf if they have one.

My local store has one on the shelf, I just sold my Nova to a friend with 3 chokes and wrench... if I'd known their cost seperate I would have held onto all of them! :D
