Today I put a Limbsaver slip-on pad on my Vinci for a little extra LOP....and it stopped cycling the 1oz/1290fps loads. Removed the Limbsaver pad and it started working again. I guess Limbsaver does absorb recoil...

Did you find out about the limbsaver yet? I got a response from them that they had not yet evaluated the Vinci...

.675 terror choke was the only thing that gave me a reasonable pattern with #2 & #3 fast steel in another gun of mine (not a Benelli). Granted, I didn't try everything else out there, but I did try 2 other aftermarket chokes before that.

Really not happy to read that. After the Vinci rattled the heck out of my jaw last weekend I was thinking that a raised comb might help. I had wrongly assumed these are readily available like for the other models. Guess I won't know any time soon.
