  1. Firing pin, extractor and ejector assemblies, hammer & magazine spring. An extra firing pin retaining pin wouldn't hurt.
  2. Lack of experience and lack of appropriate platforms. Most shottys have far too much LOP. The M4, with stock collapsed, would be an excellent candidate for a forward mount grip. Doing it on a weapon with a 13"+ LOP will make you feel like a GI Joe action figure, unable to shoulder the weapon effectively, and arms over-extended.
  3. Normal, it doesn't need much lube & it comes with more than necessary.
  4. From the description, it would be for export of an item exceeding $100(USD) in value, for which you must have a license and/or pay the export tax. If you shipped anything made in the US with a NSN, you are probably afoul of the "protected technology" rules.
  5. Because the forend cap attaches to the barrel retaining cap, and does not mount /attach to the barrel beyond the gas assembly, it should not effect the barrel, or not in any way you can appreciably alter. You can do the "dollar test" and see if you can pass a dollar bill between the forend and barrel rearward to the gas assembly. If so, your barrel is as free-floated as it can be. If not, you can relieve the forend. Depending on how tight the fit is, it may or may not be of value to you. Shooting w/o the forend won't show you anything, as you are losing the tension provided between the barrel retaining point and the receiver (where the forend presses against it). Whatever you see will immediately change (if you are capable of perceiving the change) as soon as you replace the forend, with or without relief cuts.
  6. The OP's premise was that the only end-user review he had seen was negative, and he wondered if that was representative or an outlier. He did so on a public, specialty, forum, thereby requesting "public" (end-user) input. Alllso... the gun mag links you posted all carry several hundred thousand $$ in Benelli/Beretta Holdings advertising dollars. This is referred to as "inherent bias." Evaluating inherent bias is part of my profession, so I do have some valid insight, regarding the issue. I'm new. I can also be an A88 at times, but I generally don't pick peter fights with folks having 300% more posts/input than I have. Significantly more maturity, it would also appear, in context...
  7. Newsflash: NO hunting vid or show uses stalking- they all bait. You wouldn't see those awesome successful hunts, otherwise. And, of course, the economics- having a vid crew out, at a few thousand/day filming, do you just send them out hoping for good footage? Cali F&G decided to make an example. A well known bow hunter used to have a video series out, filmed (IIRC) in Cali, with the same dead tree and splotched boulder, taking a deer, a bear and a few other critters. My wife used to sell those vids...
  8. Looking at them, I suspect that if you had your bolt trimmed (TSS, I believe is the company) that would go a long way in helping the cycling. Make a lot of the 3 gun mods to increase cycling speed & reduce friction...
  9. Es Sur America, man. No one cares about a bagged hostage or two. There'll be a fresh crop tomorrow...
