  1. I was in the middle of reading the thread titled something like "anyone buy from budsgunshop.com" and suddenly it disappeared? I purchased an M4S90 from there a couple months ago and I'm trying to make sure I didn't have any extra charges. Can somebody tell me what charges showed up on your account? Was it an extra charge to "buds gun shop" or some other company/name?
  2. Just out of curiosity, how long ago did you inquire; how long did it take to get your response? I sent an inquiry on carriercomp.com over 2 weeks ago and never got a response back. I sent Kip a PM here on this forum over a week ago and haven't heard from him. I'd like to place an order for just about every product he has to offer for the M4. I'm just waiting for a response back.
  3. Thanks guys. I think I'm going to go with the LE127 00 for my HD ammo. What do you think about this cheaper ammo for breaking in my gun and "plinking": FEDAXM12700AC http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/product_info.php/cPath/120_259_205/products_id/5072 Got any favorites for budget ammo?
  4. Where do you buy LE127 00 buckshot? I find very few retailers online. What I did find is sold out. Also, it looks to me like the Federal PFC15400 (mentioned in my first post) is probably the same as LE127 00 only it doesn't have the word "Tactical" on the box/shell. What do you think?
  5. @ Smokin - I'd love to see your gun with the Ti tube and Nodic +1. Any chance you could post a pic?
  6. I am looking for some shells for my new M4. Based on threads in some of the other forums out there, I figure Federal 00 buckshot is a good option. I have been looking primarily a couple varieties of Federal brand: Federal Law Enforcement Tactical Flitecontrol 8 pellet OO Buckshot (LE133-00) Federal Vital-Shok Flite-control 9 pellet OO Buckshot (PFC15400) Should I have concerns about FTF with "low-recoil" ammo in the M4? Also, the above ammo touts "the tightest buckshot patterns available" with the "FliteControl" wad. Is that really a good idea for home defense? Seems like you would want a wider pattern. I figure that a target in the home will probably be less than 20 feet. Not to mention, the M4 has a choke tube. Should I be using shells that tout "the tightest buckshot patterns available, without expensive barrel alterations or aftermarket choke tubes". I purchased what I thought to be the "best" home defense shotgun available so I want to shoot the best ammo available as well. Anyway, I'd like to hear some experiences with the above ammo and some alternative suggestions if there is anything better out there. For my home defense ammo, price will not be an issue. However, I would like to get some recommendations on more affordable target shooting ammo as well. Thanks!
  7. Thanks for the replies guys! Unfortunately, I'm not seeing many more options for a small picatinny rail directly UNDER the magazine tube (other than the ones I mentioned in my first post). A single picatinny rail would work too. I just want something small to mount an x300 or TRL. I want to keep the gun as lightweight as possible. I'd like to hear some more about the KZ or Light Mount or similar.
  8. +1 on the no pics? Also, what brand is he "Hard Case"
  9. I saw that. It looks very nice. However, its a side mount. I prefer bottom mount.
  10. I'm looking for a flashlight mount for the magazine tube on my M4. I want a small picatinny rail pn the bottom of the magazine tube to mount a TRL-1 or Surefire X300 in front of the forearm. To give you a better idea of what I'm looking for, here are two that I like the looks of, but would like to know if there is anything better. KZ 3-Rail Shotgun Mount (Found this at Botach Tactical) http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/849/kza.jpg/ Lite Mount Technologies 3-RAIL PICATINNY SHOTGUN MOUNT (This one I found at Brownells) http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/804/litetech.jpg/ (sorry - for some reason I can't get these photos to post with proper html code) Single rail would work too, but I prefer bottom mount instead of side mount. Also, if someone could offer some mounting advice I would really appreciate it. I plan to mount this on the CC full length tube. I don't want to mar the Cerakote finish. I thought perhaps wrapping the tube with a little teflon tape?
  11. The Urbino is sounding better and better to me. BTW, It doesn't look like you have a cheek riser on that Urbino. Seems like you would need the riser to get a good cheek weld with sites such as the Eotech. Guess not?

    BlackBore Chokes

    Me too.............
  13. I purchased a Benelli M4 11707. I plan to purchase the CC extension tube. I was also planning on the Benelli 70085 collapsible stock. However, I stumbled upon the Urbino Tactical Stock and it looks really nice. I am considering an Eotech sight so the cheek riser would probably be helpful. So here are my questions... 1. Which stock do you prefer? Why? (aside from the obvious price difference and 922 ®. 2. Any known issues with the Urbino Tactical Stock? Does the cheek riser feel "solid" when fully extended? Does it move at all with a firm cheek weld or with recoil? 3 Where is the best place to buy the Urbino Tactical Stock? 4. Where is the best place for a civilian to buy the Benelli collapsible stock?
  14. Any reason you guys are favoring the factory spring? Seems like you would naturally want to use the spring that is specifically made for extension tubes? Its not failing you now, but perhaps after some wear the spring will lose some of its, well... spring. It sure would be a bummer if it failed you at a critical moment.
