Yes. It was $60 with return shipping. I provided the Noveske sling plate. I'm a handy guy but didn't want to attempt it myself. Sometimes you got pay others to do what you don't feel comfortable with.

I sent a new Field Stock I had laying around to StrangerDanger for a Noveske sling plate. Should have gone this route originally. Beautiful work, fantastic turn around... Thanks Steve

Mount has been sold

Bump, buyer never sent payment. Still available

Yes, you are correct. I mounted the QD too low... Top is rolling away from me
I'm just going to send it to you as soon as the Noveske sling plate comes in.....
-
Yeah...sorry 'bout that but, there is solution without drilling more holes into your precious stock! I have one of these mounted in my standard PG stock and it's most excellent.

Or, if you must have the ambi option, there's this one too, but one side will have to use a para-clip type swivel such as Magpul makes.
As SD stated, you want the QD socket and sling swivel on the opposite side of your cheek weld on the stock whether a lefty like me or a right handed shooter.
That way when the gun is slung across your body, the sling will pull the stock in close to your chest, not roll it away from your body.
Here is an excellent tutorial on how to remove the sling plate, easy peasy.

I actually started doing this install, the first nut even came off easily . But with the next steps scared me a little.. I can cut a car apart with a Jaws of Life, in my sleep, but this is my M4 , we're taking about... I should have shipped it to SD in the first place

IMO, that was a big boo-boo where he located those Q-D sockets. I think he's finding that out right now.
I believe you might be right........ I prob should have done it more inline with the factory stock !!
-
I'm curious why you chose that position on the stock?
In all honesty, I didn't want the sling/swivel near my face when shooting with the sights or RMR.
SD : I'm using the Blue Force ( not padded). But when I connect it the way you suggested, the gun seems to "roll" onto it's side, maybe it's not tight enough ???

Thanks SD. Now I have to find a good sling..
Or is it better not to have a sling on a HD shotgun ??
-
Yes , very versatile and exactly what I needed for this stock...

This was mounted for two years from when they originally came out till the Mod 1 was released. Gun is a safe queen, only used for HD .In perfect working condition and comes with the .8" ring for mounting a scout/ e series Surefire light. Screws are a little scratched up but everything works great. Best mount for a light on your M4. $100 shipped in the lower 48 states. Please pm with your email for pictures. Thanks

I have a 5 shell holder Asgard Defense for sale. I bought it used on here. I used it for only 3 months and then put it back in its box. $90 including shipping in the lower 48 states

Joel:
Here is a picture if the Intellibeam Sensor , it's the little black tube inside the lens housing : I tried it inside my house in the pitch black, white walls, mirrors , seems to be functioning as it's supposed to . You need to mount it OPPOSITE the barrel side of the light .
The lighthead itself has "Lugs" on it . When I mounted the light I made sure the one of the "lugs" was between Mag tube
and Barrel it fits perfectly and rest against both of them .
The shrouded tailcap fits !!! it sits against the hanger right after the black plastic forends . I took a top view and side view for you . Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but it works !!!

I received the Mod 1 mount yesterday !! Beautifully Machined . I got it because I wanted to use my Surefire M600 InteliBeam light head which did not fit with the Mod 0 . The IntelliBeam sensor sits on the opposite side of the barrel as shown in the pics below. The sensor functions perfectly and is NOT affected by the shadow of the barrel .Even the shrouded tail cap fits , FANTASTIC MOUNT

Has anyone mounted one of the intelligent beam Surefire heads? I'm curious to know of the barrel shadowing causes issues with the unit's lumen output? IE: is the shine off of the barrel causing light blow back to trick the sensor into dialing back output?
I just ordered a Mod 1 , to replace my Mod 0 . I will try the the M600 IntelliBeam head as soon as I get the mount. Had bought it a few months ago without realizing it wouldn't have enough clearance . Stuck it on my AR in the meantime ....

Ordered my BOR/RMR bundle yesterday , received it today ! Absolutely fantastic, well made, low profile. Thanks !!
