Can you explain what you mean by "stand behind your gun" ... not sure I'm following you.

Made a video showing the M4 in action, from various angles, including some slow motion sequences. Thought folks who are interested in the M4 might enjoy it:

I bet those are pricey though!

Here you go, I have been told you have to push it back.

Thanks, just checked the procedure out and was able to do it. I made a high quality video showing the procedure, the YouTube videos I found on it weren't cutting it for me. Should have it up in thirty minutes, I'm uploading it now.
Will put a note on it about making sure the shell is pushed all the way back on the carrier.
-
Well, I have yet another good excuse to get out to the range today.
-
Now I just have to learn how to "float" a round on the carrier....have not quite got that figured out, and frankly, didn't bother to try.
-
I'm in love...totally. Where has this thing been all my life? I'm glad I have my Remington 870, because a pump shotgun is fun, very practical, and, well, cheap but.....
Wow....
I woke up this morning smiling.
I'm going to post a video of the outing and let you enjoy my first adventure with it.

I picked up my M4 from my FFL around noon today and headed out to my gun club (Arnold Rifle and Pistol Club in the St. Louis, MO USA area). I took the unassembled M4 to our club house and carefully followed the instructions for putting it together and then took it out to the largest combat pit we have.
Per the advice of members here, I picked up 75 rounds of 00 Buck to break it in with. I chose Remington Express Magnum Buckshot, 3" 00 Buck, 15 pellets, 1225 FPS. I put them all through the shotgun, then put 50 rounds of Winchester Super-X-3 3" #1 Buck 24 pellets, 1040FPS through the M4
Not a single fail to feed or fail to extract.
The M4 performed flawlessly. It is incredibly fun to shoot.
I'm a happy camper.

OK, thanks gents. Will do, and will send you the orthopedic bill.

OK, thanks for explaining the "dram" thing.
So, can the M4 Handle the cheapo Walmart Fed .12 guage?
I'd like to train with something less expensive than my favorite 00 Buck.
Suggestions would be most welcome!

Sorry, stupid here:
What is "Low Dram EQ" - a brand of bird shot? Type of bird shot?
-
New owner and just wondering if there is any brand/type of ammo I should avoid using in my M4, based on user's experiences?
Thanks.

Thanks, yes, when I was shopping around for one I had a hard time even finding any in stock. Davidson's Gallery of Guns shows them as out of stock, nearly constantly, and most sites where I did find a listing, they were "out of stock."
Bud's was one of the few with them in stock.

New guy here, and excuse the "new guy" gush...
My M4 has arrived at my FFL and I'm going to pick it up today at noon. I'm fired up!!
After a lot of research and looking around, I purchased it from Bud's Gun Shop. I got it for $1,559, no tax, no shipping charge. I can take it, tell me, how did I do on price?
Model number: 11707

OK, my bad for not being more clear.
Maximum capacity with a traditional magazine on it.
What's some recommended full size/extended magazines?
Thanks.
-
Greetings, I would really appreciate your help.
I am a new M4 owner and I'd like to have as much possible ammo capacity as possible.
Can you provide me links to various options for maximum magazine capacity?
Thanks.

Hey guys, new to the forum and I've been having a hard time running down an answer to this question.
I'm very interested in getting a Benelli M4, but I would really like to have as much magazine capacity as possible
Can I get a M4 and add a magazine extension to get the 7+1 mil spec capacity?
Or is that not possible?
I hate the thought of having to plunk down a lot of money on the H20 which, hate to say it, just doesn't appeal to me from a cosmetic point of view alone.
Any Ammo to Avoid with my Benelli M4?
