  1. I have 2 sets of these and the fit and finish is as good or better than the factory forend. Very tight fit, no pops, squeaks, rattles, etc.. Finish is nearly identical to factory. Both sets were purchased in the last year.

Sweet! Thanks for the info. I'm going to add the FFT fore-end, Mesa Tactical stock, & Carrier Comp extended tube.

  2. Mine has some slight wear there. I've never noticed this before.

    Not like yours though.

Man... that thing looks dirty !

This is not my M4. This used to be owned by a guy who wanted to trade for my G19 and some cash, but I didn't do it.

A guy who used to own this told me this is normal wear on the Benelli M4. The finish was rubbed off due to the shells ejection. Just curious so I know what to expect when I start shooting mine.

  4. Are there any new updates on this? I tried searching, but came up with nothing. I wanted to know if they worked the bugs out. From my understanding a lot of people have had bowed forearms, squeaks, or to long which made the install more difficult. Does the black on it match the factory stock or the Mesa Tactical stock??

  5. My soft cases came in for my Benelli M4 and Mossberg 930 SPX today. I bought it from Midway USA. They're having a sale right now at $20. I love Midway's products. Nice cheap case and durable! Just giving you guys a heads up in case you guys were looking for one.

  6. I think I'll be getting the Blue Force Gear sling. My 2 choices are the Vickers Combat Applications sling or the padded version. What's the difference in the adjusters? I see that the aluminum adjuster is $20 more than the plastic. Any benefits to the aluminum over the plastic?

Order a couple. They are very "soft" metal.

While you are at it, these are often torn/nicked if you are careless. I remember having to send "Duggan" one to replace his when he nicked it cleaning the weapon after something like 10,000 rounds of sludge build-up and Brownells was out of stock at the time.

Good to know and I'm taking your word for it and I'll order these things. Where is the cheapest place to order the night sights? The site I mentioned doesn't seem like I can place an order on there. Also, when I was at my local gun store they had the night sights there for $139! I will not pay that!!!

  8. Cant wait to get my new extended tube and large knob ! Kips knob sure is a nation wide success ! [ : D

BUahaha... I was born with an extended tube. LOL.. the knob isn't to shabby either.

No, but really I hope these black charging handles come in soon! Can't wait to get one.

  9. Does anyone know what finish is on the Benelli or who does the finishes for the M4? Is it just parkerized? All the parkerized finishes I see are black, but the Benelli is clearly dark gray. I called Benelli yesterday to talk about their finish and they said if I wanted to get it refinished I would have to find another place who does finishes because they only do finishes that are under warranty?

  10. Parkerizing is like that. It depends on the mixture, size of the zinc and other particles, and concentration of them in the "bath". It can vary.

    Oh I see... to bad it wasn't a M1014. I would've got it... 2 M4's are most likely better than 1;)

  11. Maybe had oil on it, or maybe there was a slight chemical difference in the parkerizing bath. It happens. Was it grossly different?

It seemed to have a little oil on it, but the finish was definitely slightly glossy compared to mine (Mine has oil on the barrels right now).
