I'm afraid you may not find a detailed guide for lubrication. The driving reason is that such specifics are not needed. Lubricate all moving, or contact, parts. The exception are the gas pistons. Lubricated this area can result in very high pressures due to hydraulic properties of the oil. The choke threads will be coated with choke grease or anti-seize compound.
Or you can just slather it in motor oil. Werks for me

You're in the wrong forum, but we're well aware of the problems with Stoeger. Almost as bad as a Mossberg 930.
Regarding the filthy barrel: this is test fired in the factory and not cleaned. Everybody does this.
I'm sorry that you're dealing with this. The good news is that Benelli customer service is outstanding.

Yes, contact parts will wear with use, reaching equilibrium. In other words they will wear smooth at which point the wear will slow significantly.

Sounds potentially dangerous for the pistons and the bolt carrier.

"SRM Arms Gas system By-Pass seal work – The poorly designed factory Benelli gas system bypass (which is of very little or no use) is sealed up to improve cycling as the gun gets dirty from high fire rate. When the gas system begins to build up carbon from extended use, the bypass tends to get stuck in the open position and the gun will cease to cycle PERIOD. Sealing the bypass eliminates the possibility of this occurring."

They're heavy but function just fine. They do spin, which is the not horrible thing that folks make it out to be.

That is not normal. I'd say the the bolt release is drilled crooked.

But, I need some help with my M4.
We're here to help. The trigger assembly can be funny to put back in since the pistol grip from the C-stock spins into place. The simple answer is to rotate the pistol grip back or forth until it is right. Only very minor movements are necessary. Please let us know if we can help in any manner.

He he, this always comes up at the mere mention of Botach. I don't doubt there have been problems, but everytime I've worked with them has been great.

Tests confirm the receiver will reach a maximum of 500 F with a standard heat gun. This number is reached on the High setting and prolonged time (about 45 minutes).
500 Degrees in no where remotely close to deforming aluminum. Also it is not close to tempering the metal since this process takes more heat and more time.

I've got one. It doesn't fit. Specifically it 'pulls' the barrel nut away and the nut binds (won't come off). I'm assuming the tube is warped or something along those lines.
I can't speak for any of Daves other tubes but mine sure doesn't work. Its in the bottom of a box collecting dust.
Don't know anything about either one.

What everyone else said. Threadlocker is not necessary.
Be mindful that Low-Strength (purple) threadlocker is available.

Hi John, after looking at an SLP at the shop I would never consider one. This new gun was full of machine marks, filthy w/ black oil, and rough to hand cycle. I'll stick to an M4.

Is the piston stuck or does the gas plug not want to come off? The plugs are bear to unscrew, usually involving some leverage.
what do you thing about this ???

I've handled that gun. Very nice piece, and certainly unique. They have something of a factory 'duckbill' choke to produce a diamond pattern. Or something.
