  1. I wanted to try an angled fore grip. I have a stubby on my AR that I am comfortable using and I wanted to see if I can duplicate the ergonomics.

I have seen a trend on the forum people buying the m80 then selling it because the stock fore grip is more comfortable and lighter weight. As much as I would like to jump ahead to that wisdom...I feel like I have to try it and see if it works for me.

I will Tango...I see two places already that offer prices in that range.

  2. Tom is correct...Its a Dave's Metal Works Speed Bar. Essentially its just a piece of bent metal...super simple...It hooks on to the forearm retaining band and is held in place by the fore grip. The disadvantage is that it has scuffed the finish on my B-button! ;)

I dont really care about that...but I just put some shrink tubing on it to see if that prevents further marring.

  3. Hello all,

With a new M4 and a Ti mag tube on the way, I thought I would like to try this piece and see if I like it. Additionally it goes towards my 922r compliance...completing my dancing monkey routine. If it does not work out ill probably purchase the US cloned hand guard.

    PayPal preferred.

    Thanks,

    Eric

  4. I'm open minded about the Raven maily because I am hunting for a C-stock. I have yet to see one hands on review of this stock likely because none have shipped yet. I would be interested to see weight comparisons and fit, finish and functionality assessments. I could get past the looks if the pros outweighed the cons. One never knows...with the factory c-stocks selling at $500 at the low end and no Promags to be found....at least it is an alternative.

  5. What a great thread! I'm new to the forum and new to shotguns so I am soaking up everything I can from this forum.

I did just purchase an FFT Ti Bolt handle. They offer two sizes the large size pictured in this thread and one that is the same size as the Carriercomp. I ordered the smaller Ti bolt handle and a full length Ti tube.
