I did this about five years ago. Wanted a choke tool to more easily remove and install chokes. While there are some nice ones available, $20-30 is nuts for a uni-task tool
-Take your Benelli factory choke tool and drive the cross pin out.
-Drill the hole put to 7/32”
-Chamfer the edges to remove any burrs
-Use a #1 Phillips screw driver or a USGI steel cleaning rod section as a new handle

Hey there is hope.....
I saw two 870 Surefire fore ends pop up for sale this week
-
This middle finger abuse was quite common with the Vinci. I thought the SBE redesign fixed that.
Luckily......I’ve never had the issue.

Moved.........

I wonder if the new tube could be used with the old M4 straight stock body?
-
Well that kinda sucks for a $1700 shotgun...
Why does that suck? It’s a shotgun, chokes loosen, unless you tighten them properly.
-
****......I use nickel anti seize on my choke tubes. Get one stuck and ou are in for a trip to a good gunsmith or machinist.
Tighten it down with the supplied tool, check it every 100 shells or so

I was going down ^^^ that road,......then I discovered the Ava mount here.
Game changa.......
-
I think it is covering the hardware for the light mount that is attached to the handguard

If this listing would have been posted a week earlier, I would have jumped all over it

The way I look at it is this.
If Benelli can’t or won’t import the part, dealers and distributors can’t get the part imported, I sure as **** wouldn’t stuff one in a suitcase. There may be a bit of a gray area with a firearm part as opposed to an entire firearm. However, I default to the above.
Take importation of parts from Canada as an example. There is a restriction upon what can be imported and the value is limited to $100 for one part and a limit of a total value of $500 for a single transaction.
Last I knew bringing any part into the US from Europe required an APPROVED form 6 importation permit to be presented to customs upon arrival.

Congrats.......love mine!

I dunno, I may be wrong. US Department of State controls import and export of defense products.
They also are the agency that controls/wrote ITAR. 1st page kinda explains it.......i think
-
The NRA isn’t going to be able to change ITAR regulations
-
ITAR regulations control both the export and import of weapons and related bits

Nordic Components mag extension

I’ll put up a pic of mine later today.
However, did you realize this is an almost eight year old thread?

Smoking deal.......

I just soiled myself.........

Much appreciated Sir

I hear what you’re sayin.......

Yes Sir....

I hear what you’re saying......I have both optics. I don’t have both mounts, maybe I’ll try both & find out for myself 1st hand.
Less view obstruction with the RMR
I would prefer less of the sights in the optic anyway
Auto adjust isn’t bad at all
Changing a battery once a year is not a big deal
Re-zero for the optic isn’t an issue either
The only benefit I see to the AimPoint is it’s sealed from the elements. Where I’m at, if I were using something other than a pistol at the house, it would be an AR. And I sure as heck wouldn’t be chasing a bad guy outside. That is simply stupid and will get you a 8x10 jail cell

Benelli......torn about the AimPoint vs RMR
Something just really makes me want to try one on the M4
Benelli choke tube tool modification....

Meh,.......the replacements are junk anyway.
