What's their preferred cartridge?

My m4 is stuffed with slugs right next to me.
I have an 870 stuffed with buck and a 9 with hollowpoints.
Variety is the spice of life

Had no idea that hg existed.
At only $130 I might have to pull the trigger

I've been using a protac hlx (no laser though) to inspect rebar on jobsites for maybe 3 years now and it's a damn fine light for what I use it for.
I have however heard when mounted to weapons it can flicker under recoil

One would think you'd own one by now!!
Get mine Tuesday.
Who makes a soft case this length?
Edit: is it bad form to bump a 7 year old thread?

I mean money wise.
I've been seeing 5 round straight stock guns for $1700 so when I saw that last night I took the plunge

Slugs are all i lack in my ammo horde.
Have some fiocchi coming. Have a few remington i havent tested. Came across this review
http://www.tactical-life.com/gear/close-quarter-ammo-advantages/
The brenneke is fine i know but pricey. The trueball grouped twice as big at 50 yards.
Any first hand recommendations?
Thanks
Ps gun is an m4 if that matters

Yea thats what an arfcommer said
-
Title says it all.
Not a permanent setup, just to see what it'll group like at 50+ yards.
Thanks

Im gonna holler at you when i get my x95 out of layaway

Sprint taking a crap again
-
Shoots great but the 3" here was a bit stout
Shot at 7, 20, & 50 yards. The latter with.the 2 3/4
Didnt get all shot on paper. Might just be me but it will.be interesting to see how the fed flight control patterns.
Does the collapsible stock offer equal recoil absorbtion?

Agreed with black_dog. The mag tube swaps are really easy. I had a guy bring his over to my shop a month or so ago for the swap since he refused to try. He had to drive like 2 and a half hours. When he got here, I made him do the work with the heatgun, and we unscrewed it in like 5 - 8 minutes. He was like, "That's it??!"
Changing your own oil is a 100x harder than this job. The heatgun is cheap and you can't really hurt anything with it.
I will say the newer M4's have thread locker that is a little tougher to break. It just takes longer and would probably suck if you didn't have a vice.
Your rounds should work fine, I would also break it in first with some cheap high brass rounds like #4 birdshot. Or that Remington buckshot Walmart sells.
Yeah i got some of the rem 00 buck
Thanks

Thats a 'smith install job?
Sounds like a pita & expensive
(I know, ironic coming from a guy just blew $1800)
Just ordered some federal le 13200
I assume it will function with.the argos (being reduced recoil)?

Who has had luck with the freedom fighter +2?
I know many reccomendation going with full length swap but to save a couple hundred will help my quest for an x95
-
The bolt handle is pre- installed in the bolt and me and gun shop guy cant figure out how it comes out . We tried push twist pull.
Thanks
Edit
Got it
-
this might be perfect if it will attach to my buttstock
http://
-
yeah that piece costs more than the sling but thanks for the effort.
might just order the hardware, cut out that gaudy buckle, and have that kz sling attached..
but thatll prolly be over $20 too smh.
edit: I just need an hk91 sling and a rail mounted loop attachment for the front
(my extension clamp has a bolt on rail piece)
-
this sling will pass thru but the huge ugly buckle needs to be cut off and replaced with something tjat wont scratch the **** out of my gun
