....Ok, It's a legitimate comment, I was trying to point out that if he had concerns regarding carrying the weight of a firearm within an 18 hour period then maybe his best course of action is to build some muscle and work on his endurance. If he's taking shotgun classes than he's obviously looking to better himself in regards to combat situations, now if he's concerned with the weight of his weapon then it's pretty safe to say he could benefit from my advice. I mean I thought we were all adults here, I don't know what adults do where you all live but where I come from we like to bust each other's balls once in awhile and not get butt hurt about it.

Try growing a pair, then maybe you wouldn't worry about getting exhausted carrying a shotgun around for 18 hours during a 2 day shotgun class.
  3. I'm not sure if you're saying not to lubricate the gas pistons at all or just not with the motor oil you're using, but I shoot my M4 at least once a week, usually I lube the gas pistons with the Benelli lube that came with the gun and the rest with CLP. This last time I took it out I didn't lube the gas pistons at all, just forgot to. It fired the first 50 or so fine, then every few rounds wouldn't cycle. I took it apart and everything looked fine except both gas pistons were covered with carbon build up. I cleaned and lubricated them, reassembled, and it shot fine the rest of the day.
  4. I bought a ProMag stock and the retaining pin tore from the recoil. The pin is made from substandard metal, and the finish of the stock body is horrible. So needless to say it's not all sunshine and rainbows. But rather than shelling out $500 on top of the $150 I paid for the ProMag, I went to the Numrich gun parts website and bought a Benelli stock body, retaining pin, button, spring, and roll pin. I installed the parts into the body, then swapped the ProMag cheek rest and butt pad over to the Benelli stock body. All in all I think I spent around $300-$350 total, and it looks and functions just like the factory Benelli stock.
  5. I know this is an old thread, but I was recently looking into the Pro Mag C stock and ended up buying one based on what I've read in this thread and other places online. Now I couldn't find anyone that has both the Pro Mag and the Benelli collapsible stocks, so I had no idea on fitment compared to the factory version and many of the views on the Pro Mag were vague. Well, I took a chance and bought the Pro Mag, and it was a huge let down. It was very loose, the finish was a gloss black, and the overall look of the frame was cheap. I only shot with it once and after about 40 rounds or so the stock got stuck, I then removed it and looked inside, the pin was peeling from the recoil. I don't know if anyone else has experienced that same problem, but frankly I was pissed. I then decided to take another chance and order a Benelli stock frame, pin, and button assembly from Numrich gun parts, hoping the Pro Mag parts would fit on the Benelli. It turns out the parts are interchangeable, so I put the cheek rest and butt pad from the Pro Mag onto the Benelli stock frame and now it works beautifully and everything ended up costing about $320 in the end. As far as 922R compliance.... I have a Dave's Metal works mag tube, ATI follower, and then the Pro Mag pistol grip, all of which will count as being US made but seeing that the stock itself is comprised of both US and Italian parts I would guess that it won't count as being US made, however there really is no way to tell... But just to be safe I also got a set of FFT US made handguards as well. So anyway, if you're considering a Pro Mag C stock, I would highly recommend going to Numrich gun parts and ordering a Benelli factory stock frame and button assembly.
